rand paul asked about iran sanctions - he says that economic sanctions are not an act of war, but rather are intended to prevent war. and asked about bilderberg, to which he replies 'no comment'.

one thought about iran sanctions intended to prevent war. this means that rand thinks that without sanctions, there will be a war. for what reason? nukes? which iran has none, so why would we need sanctions and why would there be war? the guy is a loon and his apologists, of which i think there are few, should wake up. also, note that he surrily demands of the questioner who are you with.

MrM says:

“I would rather my enemy’s sword pierce my heart then my friend’s dagger stab me in the back.” Faustus

Bill O Rights says: Putting an amendment on a sanction bill that says, ‘this is not an act of war’, fits right into the Libya bombings as a humanitarian ‘kinetic military action’. Orwellian NewSpeak bullshit. Sanctions are economic war actions by definition.

Rand is a sellout and Ron was disengenuous with his supporters, telling them that they would win with delegate count and pandering for more dollars, not calling voter fraud in Maine, etc.

The beltway is so corrupt that it’s impossible to hold office and not get dirty. It’s a meatgrinder.

captain obvious says: screw the pauls.

4 years ago: “thanks for the moneybombs truthers, 911 wasnt an inside job, I’m off to write a book, seeya!”

this time: no fight against blatant vote fraud in so many states, “ooh lets go for delegates”, then he lets his son do the backstab sabotage crap.

how many millions have these JACKASSES raked us for?!!

Good. This is the perfect time to dump all the Truthy/Birthy losers that have tried to latch onto the Paul campaigns to use them for their own recruiting and to build their own profile.

Good riddance to Alex Jones and the born-losers of PrisonPlanet.

actually, those were the people who were the first and main donors to paul's campaign, he said so himself on Jones show., and, Rand admits that he learns from the alex jones show.

I listened to both rands interviews (dailypaul and schiff). he did indeed sound reasonable, but upon analysis, in the end a sellout is a sellout. Sugar coating it will not help. he lost a lot of support by doing what he did. i'd garner that the grass root support for senator paul is now gone. he will probably cozy up to some corporation or zionist AIPAC group who will help fund his feeble reelection attempt in 3 years.

reelection attempt in 3 years.

4.5 years. In 2016.

For a senator in office for 1.5 years, he's done more than the rest combined. He is not lazy or shy.

i said 3 years because he will not begin his re-election campaign in 4.5 years. 4.5 years from today is December 2016. The general election is November 2016.

if his 2nd term were to begins jan. 2017, he would run again in early 2016 for perhaps a march 2016 primary. So if he's smart, (especially considering he's alienated most of the base which put him into office,) he would start in 3 years. MAYBE 3.5.

Well, the campaign never ends, you know. But I just had lunch and I'm not in a mood to nitpick.
