Hannity; the epitome of a lockstep, brain dead pubbie. The entirety of his radio show (and that mess on FOX TV) is "Republicans good - Democrats bad." How in god's name could any thinking person remain wed to the R's? I hate them more than the D's because I feel personally betrayed. May they lose both houses and the presidency. The FReeper threads alone would be worth the additional dose of socialism.

I'm with you there, JT.

Once, I read something by P.J. O'Rourke where he said "Republicans gain power every now and then, and that's when they remind you of why they don't gain power often." (Not an exact quote.)

I thought he was joking. But now I know it was true. I don't just want them to lose power. I want their party to be destroyed and to disappear forever, and for no one to ever speak its name aloud again. They deserve this for placing Bush/Cheney in power.

PJ was probably serious at the time, but he has bailed out of the GOP. He's a moron, but not quite as stupid as he used to be.
