Monster Fire in our hood.
House not burned, but know of folks whose house's have been destroyed. Totally.
Panic load up of esstinals tax records etc,
Last we looked, didn't seem too bad, only ten or so hot spots on Ramparts/ AFA range.
The whole experience has been truly surreal.
We arer sleeping on the sales floor of our store - we have given the basement to some needy friends.

Last I looked was nine pym, and seemed calm. What an experience. Wildfires, people are f scary. Where exactly are you?
My house is about two miles S of the Air academy, if that, in Colorado Springs, who are enduring a record breaking Metro/Regionial wildfire. Right now I am a refugee, the army has bloacked my return to my house, Sue and I and two neighbors (who had no where else to go but the shelters)are holed up in our liquor store. Ya can't make it up. Actualy we had guests before in our basement for the Rita hurricane. Take care Tom.. Pray for rain and keep the wheels ready for a fast get away.
Stay safe, Tom. I do hope your home comes through okay. Please keep us updated.
I can think of worse places to be. Just watch those flammables. To be safe you ought to consume them before the fire does. Everybody's watching this situation. It's unreal. Stay safe both of you and keep us posted. BTW, did you say the Army? Did you mean the National Guard? Tom, what a nightmare! Stay safe and keep us posted, I'll keep you, your wife and your home in my thoughts and prayers.

I did. I don't know, they were in green, ya get scattered in time like this. I'll send this to the tourist board for them to use next year.

How are you doing Tom? Any update on the "military situation?" Please keep us updated on the situation....hope and pray that your house remains safe! Do you have pets?
Thank goodness you still have your home and your life. I know about those forest fires. We had those to look forward to in late September through late October in Los Angeles. My prayers go out to you and those in the surrounding area.
Inviting photo - if you have horns and a spiked tail. Montana is burning too. My Aunt in Billings reports that the smoke has gotten bad enough to turn off the AC despite 90 degree+ heat. There are currently multiple out of control range and forest fires. Halarious.
OK here in COS, fires menecing a bit. A few thousand feet hot spots. NOTHING like yesterday. All 4um should have been in COS over the last few days. House is safe and no smoke order indoors.. Pets OK. I'm glad to hear that. Absolutely. We would have ensured you didn't have any flammables left in your store. Can't be too careful. Pets OK. Glad to hear you dodged a bullet, tom007. Congrats!
