I'm not quite sure what you are arguing about with AllTheKings'Horses, and I'm not taking anyone's part here, but it is highly doubtful that Solomon ever set his eyes on whatever it is that's depicted here. I do not believe Greek was in use in the man's kingdom of that time. Of course "tetragrammaton" is Greek for "the four lettered (word)" and it commonnly refers to the vowelless name of God: YHVH. Here we see the Greek word rendered in Roman letters. At the time of Solomon (10th century BC) the Latins had not established themselves in Italy let alone evolved their system of writing. What we see in this seal looks like the product of late medieval fancy. Let's keep our ducks in a row here, whatever the argument may be. For the record Buddha, on his deathbed, was very explicit in stating that he was only an ordinary mortal man and that he was never to be worshiped as a God. Any Buddhist sect which does worship Buddha does so in express violation of his teachings. Buddha was a very wise man, a prophet even, but those seeing profit in using his wisdom to enhance their own wealth and standing have perverted his teachings - just as has been done with the words of Christ. what it boils down to is...there is only one God...and He is not racist. you may not believe it now, but one day you will. Are you saying the Chosen Ones are not Chosen? :) Correct. However, that IS the "Seal of Solomon" mentioned by all of these "experts". Thing is, it IS a medieval forgery. I don't think you've ever read the word of God. You've read the words of corrupt men, and OBEYED them in their DEMANDS that you have FAITH in them. Your sources are full of it, perhaps you should do a little checking on your own rather than listening to the snake oil salesmen who tell you what you believe as "the truth". Buddha is not a deity, rather he was a teacher. Buddism is about life, reincarnation, and karma. What you do in life WILL affect your future life, for better or worse. There IS no way of trying to buy off or bribe your way into a better future. Believing in a book will not help you, neither will getting on your knees and "worshipping" your god of choice.
