DENVER (AP) — Dispatch recordings show that Colorado's deadly Waldo Canyon wildfire appears to have started near a popular hiking trail west of Colorado Springs.

The Denver Post (bit.ly/RqTtsM) reports Friday that recordings show firefighters searched the Waldo Canyon trail on the evening of June 22 and morning of June 23 trying to find the source of smoke, but their efforts were hindered by wind.

On June 23 the fire exploded and went on to destroy nearly 350 homes and kill two people. That day, on dispatch recordings, at least two firefighters said the fire apparently started in the area they had searched.

Authorities say they've pinpointed the fire's origin but haven't released details, including whether it was human-caused.

The National Weather Service says there were no thunderstorms there on June 22 or 23.

I hear they have a sealed indictment for the Marlboro man and are waiting for him to return from the Frontier Days Rodeo in Cheyenne Wyoming to arrest him. He has asked the Montana authorities for permission to enter that state to bale hay.

Hmmmmm, thanks for the updates. There is just so much missing in the mainstream.

We look forward to your breaking reports and on-the-ground reporting on this story.

Noting this comment at the Yahoo! News site:

It is looking like arson. I have a friend who lives in CO Springs who said there were 20 or so fires started a week prior in a nearby area. Wonder why the national news is not reporting this?

the Marlboro man

I think you're jesting but this is why I'm commenting here:

Francis Scott Key reportedly wrote our national anthem aboard a British ship during the War of 1812 -- was detained there while negotiating the release of some prisoners, one of whom could be called "The Marlboro Man", Dr. William Beanes, a resident of Upper Marlboro, Maryland who had been arrested after putting rowdy stragglers under citizen's arrest.

What could that possibly have to do with the Colorado disaster? Maybe nothing, except this video of when that started seems sort of like an Illuminati-type jibe at the Star Spangled Banner's line, "O'er the ramparts we watched"...

Witnessing the start of the Waldo Canyon Fire - June 23, 2012

Published on Jun 27, 2012 by CarmichaelTV

Carmichael Training Systems Coaches and Athletes were riding mountain bikes up Rampart Range Road outside of Colorado Springs on Saturday, June 23 as part of a routine ride. On the way up in the morning, there was no smoke or fire as they passed The Overlook. On the way back down, they spotted smoke below them to the south. Fire fighters were already on Rampart Range Road when the still images of the fire were taken. Firefighters advised the group to get down off Rampart Range Road as fast as possible, which they did. Just look at the growth of the smoke plume in the time it took to drive a few miles down Rampart Range Road! The fire had topped the ridge before they even made it to the water tank/cell towers just above the Cedar Heights neighborhood!

CORRECTION: The time stamps on the images/videos used was incorrect. Coaches were at The Lookout at 11AM on Saturday with no fire/smoke present, then on their way down at 1:15-1:30PM when they stopped and took photos of the beginning of the smoke plume.

Cross-referencing 4um Title: Here is what Happened to US in Colorado Springs.

Edited for highlighting.

Since Francis Scott Key's original title for The Star Spangled Banner was "Defence of Fort McHenry", I'm going to note too that the 1:30 timing also looks like it could be an Illuminati-type jibe at our Military's time-logging, which would be 13:30. Not exactly "Oh, Dark Thirty" in Military slang-speak, since it was in the afternoon and not at night, but to the NWO Disorderists of the Underworld it might be a negative punchline thing.
