Our house is about two inches off the left of most of the screen. The Air Force Academy is the center view, you can see the triangular chapel in many of the shots.

Our community is still reeling from this.

The relationship between morality and liberty is a directly proportional one.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your counsel nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.”

Our community lost 350 houses more than totally - streets, gas lines electricals destroyed. Hundreds, likely thousands of houses damaged at this inventory, I suspect a lot more as folks return to see what they have left.

We are a stressted out city.

Our personal house was right west of I-25, so we were as far from the front lines as an evacuee could get.

But we were evacuated to our store and we brought a widow and her daughter to shelter them as well. And there two cute but barking , terriers, not he best dogs in an evacuation situation from what I can see.

Yeah, it was one bad year in Cypress. There are still a lot of dead trees among the pines and oaks here.

Never thought about the rain as I was growing up in the Mid-West. Now we thank God for every drop. I mowed the lawn yesterday, and after the inches we got in the afternoon it looks like it needs it again.

How are you guys looking over in Austin?? Getting some of that tropical moisture, are you?

There's rain out this way, but it seems like it's missing us. It seem like there is some kind of heat island affect that steers rain around Houston and leaves us dry.

It is very steamy, but I am thankful for the cloud cover. The trees need a break from all the baking sun that we get here.

Hope you all get a soak this week. That tropical weather is forecast to be coming your way this week.
