It says, at 0:00:35, that "The Games commence on 27 July"
On the French Revolutionary calendar, that date was 9 Thermidor: For historians of revolutionary movements, the term Thermidor has come to mean the phase in some revolutions when power slips from the hands of the original revolutionary leadership and a radical regime is replaced by a more conservative regime, sometimes to the point where the political pendulum may swing back towards something resembling a pre-revolutionary state. Edit to add: Leon Trotsky, in his book The Revolution Betrayed, alleges the rise of Joseph Stalin to power was a Soviet Thermidor.
You're welcome. Summer Olympic Games - Wikipedia. The chart towards the bottom of the page shows that this is the first to start on July 27. Twice they ended on that date: Sweden 1912 and 1924...France.
Haven't watched much of the video you posted yet but am listening to it. This is a strange video that was posted recently at Rense.com (link titled: Weird British Airways Commecial Says 'Don't Fly') but isn't there now. It claims to be promoting a Home Team Advantage for Britain during the Olympics by advocating that Brits stay there to root for their athletes rather than travel elsewhere. Valuing patriotism above whatever profits the company might lose is remarkable but the soundtrack is what's disturbing -- "London Calling", a 1979 song by the British Punk Rock band, The Clash:
This summer, the greatest sports event on Earth comes to London. And our best sportsmen and women have a once in a lifetime opportunity, to compete at the highest level with the whole country behind them. That's why we're asking the nation to join together, to give our athletes the greatest home advantage we can give them. It could be the difference in seconds and millimetres, turning silver into gold. This summer, there's nowhere else in the world to be.

From the Comments section:
"You do know what this song is about, don't you? Did you literally just pick this song because the lyrics contain 'London'?"
"Actually, I believe the Olympics themselves have adopted this as the official song for 2012. Blame them. It's pretty foreboding stuff, no???"
"Excellent song - did anyone at BA actually listen to it before signing off on the ad....."
FlyBritishAirways: "Hi - our 'Don't Fly' campaign is a lighthearted way of asking the nation to get behind our athletes for the London 2012 Games. We're proud to be supporting them and want everyone to get involved and join the #HomeAdvantage. We understand people will still want to fly during the Games and we will be happy to welcome them on board, but we'll be just as happy if they stay for the Games and travel with us later. Thanks."
On the 2012 logo resemblance to Zion at 8:02 in the video and the Summer commencement date of July 27, the Jewish Temple destruction commemoration of Tisha B'Av in 2012 is the evening of Saturday, July 28, 2012 to the evening of Sunday, July 29, 2012.
