Let me backtrack a bit about "Jerusalem". One plot has it being the Old Jerusalem...i believe the Jews and the Pope covet that. Something about that "strategy" of amassing troops in a bowl shaped area reminds me of the Battle of Dien Bien Phu in Vietnam, March-May 1954. The French troops were overrun and France left French Indochina, dividing Vietnam into North and South on its way out of there. About 50 years later, two U.S. pilots were reportedly listed as killed in action in the seige of Dien Bien Phu.
