According to Fox News' Carl Cameron, Ron Paul has now met the requirements for his name to be put up for the Republican nomination at the convention in Tampa, Florida.
That video shows even the MSM knew months ago, back at the beginning of May, that Ron Paul had already qualified to be listed for nomination at the Tampa Convention.
"Colorado Paul 18, Romney 16, Santorum 2 Iowa Paul 23, Romney 2 Louisiana Paul 27, Romney 19 Maine Paul 21, Romney 3 Minn Paul 32, Romney 8 Nevada Paul 22, Romney 3
The article is a LIE. Suprise?"
"The 2012 election year will be viewed by future generations as the time that providence brought forth a Statesman, and the American body politic tore him to pieces."
"This is proof that the ppls vote doesnt count Romeys the winner and the polls dont close for another two hours lol. what a joke!"
"This is just another one of many examples of how corrupt our media has become, Ron Paul had already won 5 states weeks ago, in fact hes won atleast 7, not to mention the massive amounts of voter fraud going on."
"Ron Paul won 6 to 7 states without Nebraska. The only reason this was called his last stand is because our government is afraid of Dr. Paul."
"Sorry MSM; #TRUTH is, we control the delegates in no less than 7 states without Nebraska. Your coining this convention as Pauls last stand is merely extreme wishful thinking."
"Ron Paul has a plurality of delegates in around 11 states and WILL be on the ballot in TAMPA."
"Im not sure what prompted the new meme about Ron Paul needing this state to get nominated. It looked like one news site mocking the news of an unconfirmed blog that then became viral. If this was a real news site, it would inform its viewers than Ron Paul has the majority of Delegates from Iowa, Minnesota, Maine, Nevada, and Louisiana. My guess i[s] a new narrative had to be created, so the new fiction included Nebraska as Rons last stand. Since he didnt get it, the fair and accurate new media has given readers an excuse as to why nothing furthur will happen."
"What was done deliberately by the media over the past few days was create a fictional benchmark involving Nebraska, labeling it as Pauls last stand and Pauls last chance. This was done so that when the GOP shuts out Paul and his supporters at the convention, this latest meme will be billed as the plausible justification for doing so. This is how gutter politics works. Its done to keep the electorate Paul supporters and otherwise from questioning what exactly happened to Pauls presence and platform at the convention."
"Ron Pauls so-called 'delegate insurgency' may have ended, meaning that there will be no more state conventions and no more additional delegates to add to his current tally. This does not mean that Ron Paul missed his opportunity to have his name entered into nomination by not winning a plurality of delegates in Nebraska as the media wants you to believe. They have been reporting that Ron Paul currently has a plurality of delegates in four states, and that he needed to win a plurality in Nebraska to meet the qualifications set forth in RNC Rule 40 to have his name entered into nomination. The truth is that Ron Paul currently has a plurality of delegates in six states, one more than required by RNC Rule 40. If the Romney campaign did not change the rules after the fact in Massachusetts and disqualify the 17 Ron Paul delegates for not signing a pledge to swear their allegiance to Romney, Ron Paul would have had seven state delegations in his corner. The bottom line is that it would have been nice for Ron Paul to win Nebraska but it wasnt necessary.
What is important now is to nullify the illegal RNC Rule which dictates who a delegate must vote for. Federal law prohibits the Republican Party from forcing any delegate to vote a particular way. Once this RNC Rule is nullified and the 2, 288 delegates are allowed to vote their conscience, Ron Paul will walk out of the convention as the Republican nominee."
