I was watching Fox New this afternoon on Kelly's Court where Megyn was discussing this case. It appears that Holmes' attorney wants to plead with the court that her client is insane. Now, in such a pre-liminary hearing, how can an attorney make such a plea without the court ordering the client to go get a mental assessment done before making further decisions? It appears that the attorney has knowledge that Holmes has a history of mental illness which would help in his defense from getting the death penalty.

Here's more tidbit info on The Joker character which eerily fits the description of James Holmes.

---------------------------------------------------

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_joker

Throughout his comic book appearances, the Joker is portrayed as a master criminal whose characterization has varied. The original and currently dominant image is of a highly intelligent psychopath with a warped, sadistic sense of humor, while other writers have portrayed him as an eccentric prankster. Similarly, throughout the character's long history, there have been several different origin tales; they most commonly depict him as falling into a tank of chemical waste, which bleaches his skin white and turns his hair green and his lips bright red, giving him the appearance of a clown. He has been repeatedly analyzed by critics as the perfect adversary for Batman; their long, dynamic relationship often parallels the concept of yin and yang.

Powers, abilities, and equipment

The Joker is portrayed as highly intelligent and skilled in the fields of chemistry and engineering, as well an expert with explosives. From his first appearance onward, he has been consistently portrayed as capable of hijacking broadcasts - usually news programs - of both the television and radio varieties. In a miniseries featuring Tim Drake, the third Robin, the Joker is shown kidnapping a computer genius, and admitting that he doesn't know much about computers, although later writers have portrayed him as very computer literate.

The Joker's skills in unarmed combat vary considerably depending on the writer. Some writers have shown Joker to be a very skilled fighter, capable of holding his own against Batman in hand-to-hand combat. His versatility in combat is due in part to his own extensive array of hidden gadgets and weapons on his person that he often pulls out on a moment's whim (rolling a handful of explosive marbles on the ground, retractable knives attached to his spats, etc.); other writers, on the other hand, prefer portraying Joker as physically frail to the point that he can be defeated with a single punch. He is, however, consistently described as agile. Joker's skills in combat also differ in the film and television adaptations.

I’ve been watching Fox 11 LA news this evening and they noted that Holmes is now in jail and that he has entered a plea of insanity due to the fact that he was totally unaware of what he was doing. This is a classic case of mind-control. What really should be looked into is if this is the case that this individual has a history of mental illness, how was he able to obtain access to semi-automatic weapons? Every citizen has a background check prior to purchasing firearms. But not this individual. Why? If he purchased the semi-automatic weapon, they need to look where it was purchased by doing a serial number check on the gun and bullet casings. They need to hold the person who sold Holmes the gun equally responsible.

I highly suspect that Holmes did not act alone on this but that there are others who orchestrated this scenario from behind the scenes and used him as “The Fool” to do their dirty work. Their agenda: The purpose to instill Americans that guns kill people and that this incident proves guns need to be out of our hands. And sense the FBI had prior knowledge of such an incident to take place in a theater setting like Aurora, but removed their press release after only posting it for several days from May 17-20, 2012, that they along with the gun store merchant should be held legally liable for this atrocity jointly and severally. Either that or perhaps this is something of a big cover-up and the people of the United States should file a class-action suit against the government under RICO statutes because they conspired to indirectly allow this to take place by their failure to act. We are seeing too many cases of these shootings to see the same pattern over and over again. I'm just not that damn stupid!

I have also gleaned from the following:

The court has put a seal on all records pertaining to this incident. How convenient!

JUDGE SEALS 'BATMAN' SHOOTING CASE Prosecutors fear public scrutiny could 'jeopardize the ongoing investigation' By Sergio Hernandez Friday, July 20, 2012

· · · · · · · An Arapahoe County Court judge has granted a request to seal the case against James Holmes, the 24-year-old shooter who killed 12 and wounded 50 during a screening last night of "The Dark Knight Rises." The motion, filed in Arapahoe County court, asks for the records in the case to be sealed, including search warrants, affidavits, orders and the "case file." The District Attorney's affidavit says prosecutors are investigating first-degree murder charges against Holmes, but that disclosure of the court records would be "contrary to public interest" and "could jeopardize the ongoing investigation."
