Ron Paul’s bill to audit the Federal Reserve has passed overwhelmingly in the House. It cleared a suspension of House ruled requiring a two-thirds vote. The final vote was 327 to 98 and all but one Republican and 89 Democrats voted yes. The bill had more than 274 cosponsors and faced strong opposition by Democrats and the Federal Reserve. The legislation will allow auditors to conduct in-depth audits of the private bankster cartel’s monetary policy operations. “The agreement granted the Government Accountability Office broad authority to examine the operations of the Fed and to require additional disclosures from the central bank, including examinations of the Fed’s discount window and its purchases and sales of government securities,” the Washington Post reports this afternoon. Prior to passage, Ron Paul said Americans “sick and tired of what happened in the bailout and where the wealthy got bailed out and the poor lost their jobs and they lost their homes.” “It’s time that we stood up to the Federal Reserve that right now acts like some kind of high, exalted priesthood, unaccountable to democracy,” said Rep. Dennis Kucinich. It remains to be seen if the bill will become law. It needs Senate approval and a signature by Obama. One has to wonder what auditing the Fed will accomplish.

The next step is to abolish the greedy low life organization and jail the guilty.

Wholly laudable cause for sure, however, Ron went about it it a rather faulty way in trying to become President. Next year this curse will have been with us one hundred years, in that time several men have tried to bring them down, all including Paul have failed. Anyone desiring to kill this monster, MUST FIRST GET THEMSELVES INTO A POSITION OF POWER, never by going single handed and openly. IN the past other men tried direct assault and died for it.
In this game of whack a mole it would be prudent to remember that the treasury's Exchange Stabilization Fund operates from with-in the NY Fed with out any accountability and any actions taken by the NY Fed as directed by the ESF are invisible on the fed's books. Who could have thought that giving 1/3 of the nations gold to 1 man to manage in secret with no restraints could go wrong? I Don't Need Anger Management ... You Just Need To Stop Pissin Me Off !!!
No I was wondering if this is what he sold his soul for. In a rather obscure way, I suspect whatever Ron Paul has done is for the future chance of his son being President one day. What Rand might do as President is of course open to conjecture.
