How dare you mock a kid who is a D-1 athlete and an early graduate.
If he were a grunt you'd be genuflecting at his knees.
Fortunately, Cyni's knowledge is not limited to the idolatry surrounding college or professional sports.
Conversely, consistent display of disgust at his support of our military men and women shows just how limited one is in tolerating the differences of opinions of others who post here.
Phant, allow me explain to you why it is that I cannot respect the choice of those who enlist (they are not drafted, they are not dragged away in chains, nor are they forced) in today's military. Their CAREER choice harms me. It harms me because they are the trigger pullers and were it not for them, these wars could not be executed. They are voluntarily doing their part to perpetuate the evil destruction of other countries and their people.
How can I, in good conscience, support or respect these men and women if I cannot support their mission?
... allow me explain to you why it is that I cannot respect the choice of those who enlist ...
In turn, allow me to explain why I cannot respect the choice of those who support politicians who are shills for the elite and Zionists. Were it not for the support of such self-serving trash, there would be no need for the trigger pullers. Furthermore, were it not for "them" (the trashy politicians) "these wars" might not be executed.
Those YOU support are being paid to perpetuate the evil destruction of this country, other countries and all the peoples in both. How can I, with rational thinking and honest intentions, support men and women who make it possible for the criminal politicians to bring harm to me, my family and those I love? I cannot, but I DO respect your right to voice your opinions.

And there it is. I totally agree, the flawless logic you stated requires me to go against the tide of idolatry that is blindly given to each and every member of the military. I suspect I'll be stepping on lots of toes in the years to come when I tell a parent that their son/daughter is part of the problem. I'm prepared to deal with it.
Like that TX case recently, where the dad killed the molestor of his kid on the spot. Now that is justice. Cops, politicians etc will not solve this mess. Pervs must have fear of real consequences.
How can I, in good conscience, support or respect these men and women if I cannot support their mission?
Easy.
Small town white boys don't really understand what they're doing or getting into. Good motives, bad input data.
Then they keep doing it. Not for the cause, which they may come to no longer believe, but for each other.
They have their own prisoner's dilemma. If they all leave, the war ends. If one leaves, he hurts himself and the men who trust him with their lives (if not their wives.)
Their virtues are used against them.
Ending the war is our job, not theirs. Ending it IS the best way to support them.
