What is it? A deer? I can't tell for sure with my monitor. Is it old enough to live without its mother?
It is certainly a deer, and you can be sure that its mother isn't far away.

Some guy gave me some deer meat once. I had to soak the blood out of it, then soaked it in beer. My pug dragged all of it off the table and ate every bit of it.
I sense a disturbance in the farce. Much gnashing will ensue.
Tomato Soup with Roasted Red Peppers • 2 Tbsp olive oil Heat olive oil in a dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add onion and saute until softened, 3 minutes. Add the carrots, garlic and seasonings (through pepper). Cook until vegetables are soft, 8-10 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil over high heat, then turn heat down to medium-low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are fork-tender, about 30 minutes. • 1 onion, chopped
• 2 cups carrots, chopped
• 3 garlic cloves, minced
• 1/2 tsp thyme
• 1 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp black pepper
• 5 cups vegetable or chicken broth
• 1 cup unsweetened apple juice, or one apple, chopped
• 1 jar roasted red peppers (12 to 16 oz), drained and rinsed
• 3 cans (14 oz) diced fire-roasted tomatoes
• 1 medium or large russet potato, peeled and diced
• 1/2 cup dry white wine

• salt and pepper to taste
