My best goes out to him. Having had a cardiac event of my own recently he has my sympathy and my prayers.

I had severe, but barely tolerable, pain in the chest and left arm which lasted for about a day and a half. Once I went to the pharmacy and got some aspirin and took one it began subsiding but still took until the next morning (after I began the aspirin) to completely fade back into the tolerable to unnoticeable range. I had another milder bout about 3 days later when I stopped taking the aspirin - so I took one. Then the Pauling Regimen began kicking in and by the end of the second week I was off the aspirin and mostly normal as long as I didn't engage it too much physical activity - like walking fast. It has continued to improve but I am still aware that it is there and I am still not back to normal activity levels. I am afraid I may have suffered permanent damage.
