Title: The GOP: Do I stay or do I go?

My name is Jay Stang. I was a national delegate from the 22nd district of Texas. I was one of the people leading the successful effort to turn in the required support of six states to get Ron Paul on the nomination ballot. Unfortunately, the RNC ran out of toilet paper five minutes after we turned the forms in. I have read on Daily Paul several comments and posts about leaving the Republican Party. Should we leave? Hell no.

I will not tell you what to do; after all, this is the liberty movement. I will tell you what the RNC wants, and that is for you to leave. They want you to throw up your hands in despair and decamp for the Libertarian Party. That way, the RNC and PTB and the NWO can pursue their designs in peace without a bunch of steely eyed, committed hard as nails activists stomping around and pissing in their Wheaties. They are tired of you, and every time you show up to a precinct, county, district or state conventions it forces them to do more work than they want to. Why can't we just leave them alone with their GOP toy in peace?

That is exactly why you should not leave--why make it easier for them? We were cheated, bamboozled and ripped off this week. Why shouldn't we leave? I will tell you why. I have many friends who are Libertarians. There are many patriots in the Libertarian Party. There are many brave warriors in the Libertarian Party. There are many effective, tough, smart people in the Libertarian Party. Get my point? All of those people there, and what do they have to show for it? When was the last time a Libertarian was on National TV? Any libertarian senators? Representatives? Governors? They've had 40 years to build the party. The GOP wants you in the LP, because there you can accomplish nothing.

You can vent, discuss, act, speechify to your heart's content in the Libertarian Party, and it won't make a damn bit of difference. Let me say that again: you are wasting your time, energy and God given talents. Exactly how much attention would the same people in the press conference have achieved if they had stood outside of the LP national convention with the same message and signs? I don't think I have to answer that question.

When Gary Johnson left for the LP, the GOP party bosses, the ten fat men in the back room, cheered. One less annoying small government guy for them to deal with. They want you to leave. They can't wait for the day Ron Paul decides to go third party.

If you join the LP, you are racing around the parking lot outside the Indianapolis 500 and wondering why you aren't winning the race. You are hitting the heavy bad with a picture of Mike Tyson's face on it, and expecting to win the heavyweight championship belt. You are executing the perfect mount on the tackling dummy and thinking you are beating the crap out of GSP. Enough with the sports analogies...You aren't going to win. You want to change this country? You want to legalize freedom? It ain't happening in the LP. I say that with the greatest respect for all of my friends in the Libertarian Party.

The battle for this country is in the GOP. Only in the GOP is the power present to change this country. You leave the GOP, you are leaving the battle. Pure and simple. You are disengaging from the fight. If my words offend you, and I am sure some will be offended, so be it. You are surrendering to the enemy the day you walk out the GOP's door and admit failure. Imagine what we could do if every Libertarian joined the GOP tomorrow. How much could the forces of liberty accomplish? The party bosses wouldn't know what hit them. Sure, they can form Team Nevada when they lose the state. Can they form a new RNC? Not bloody likely.

The GOP has never been conservative. It has always been the party of big bankers, elites and monopoly businessmen. It was red from the start, but now the time has come to change. I will stand and fight. I will keep my oath to the Constitution and I will purge all Oath Breakers from the GOP. There are a lot of people standing behind me. People I worked with this week, who will look the GOP in the eye and laugh. Do you know why a bullet was planted in Jackie Gloor's luggage? Do you know why they tried to strip search Carol Paul? Because they are scared. No one plants bullets in Gary Johnson's campaign manager's luggage. No one tries to strip search Mrs. Johnson. The RNC just told on itself.

What does the USAF say? When you are taking flak, you are over the target. We made a stab at their power structure and home base this week, and they didn't like it. We marched around their convention like Joshua and the Israelites around Jericho. There was a thunder in that building that was louder than in the convention itself. Every eye and camera was fixed on us. My mom got to march next to me, and see all the years of work and sacrifice that the founders of the patriot and liberty movement made pay off. Ever have your dad get hauled off to jail because he tangled with the IRS and lost? I have. Have you ever had to raise five little kids by yourself because your husband is in jail then flee the country a year later? My mom sure has. The people that started our movement sixty years ago labored in the wilderness. Those days are over. No one will ever ignore us again. The walls of Jericho came down, and so will the GOP's.

We are Americans. Resistance to tyranny and freedom run in our veins. Take hold of your heritage and do what your ancestors did. Don't fight the punching bag or the tackling dummy. Fight the enemy.

Men of the west, stand and Fight!

I don't think that Jay gets-it.

Ron says party is irrelevant. I agree with him. A third party run very well could be coming soon. Ron is thinking about it now!

You may know much better than I about such things but I believe the PTB got to him a good six months ago, about the same time he quit campaigning.

I dunno.

Jay might have a fight worth fighting if the Mormon loses. There might be room in that case for another insurgency if that should happen. If the Libertarians were to throw their numbers and energy behind the Tea Party activists in the Republican Party, there might be a chance for a large scale coup.

It would be hand to hand fighting though.

What you say makes sense right up until the convention is over. After that it's time for punishment. The party needs to be sent a message. You anoint hard-core leftists like Robamney and you will not get our vote. You treat us like red-headed step children and you will not get our vote.

Any Paul supporter voting for Robamney after (1) knowing what sort of leftist he is and (2) witnessing the Republican Party's actions toward Ron Paul and his supporters is a damn fool who has no pride and no morals

Calling Ron Paul an isolationist is like calling your neighbor a hermit because he doesn't come over and break your window - unknown

I WITHDRAW MY CONSENT!
Any perceived compliance with unconstitutional “laws” or orders put forth by government employees is NOT recognition of their authority; it is simply the result of carefully calculated submission to an entity exhibiting superior firepower.
