Of course, anything Bad about us is obviously Not True!
Right?
Right??
"If we dont adhere to the Constitution on matters as significant as presidential eligibility, then the Constitution ceases to be a meaningful document for guiding our nation."
When the U.S. overthrew Mossagedeh (sp?) and installed the Shah, it signaled an end to democracy in Iran. This led to the eventual rise of the Ayatollahs and the ouster of the Shah in 1979.
I knew an Iranian Christian (whom I worked with on the State of Illinois). When the Ayatollahs took over, he found a sponsor and brougfht his family to America.
"When bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fall, one by one." Edmund Burke
I have some doubts that the U.S. actually "overthrew" Mossadegh (rootword: Mossad), even if he did nationalize Iran's oil. More like that was just Act 1 there of the same old, same old usual suspects staging wars between others for war profiteering purposes and such. I've read that the Ayatolla was a British subject domiciled in France until he was imported into Iran by his sponsors to continue the warmongering agendas.
Edited for spelling.
