I went through these mental gymnastics prior to Y2K. I simply haven't the energy to load up my basement w/Spam for a 2nd time. This go around I'm going to be one of the "takers" this dude is describing. Sorry preppers, your food is mine when the SHTF.
Why dont you just have an extra supply of food you use instead of dehydrated or spam?
I think the biggest enemies in society apart from the ones who cause all these problems are the busibody statist types throughout society. they are just the absolute worst and will try to do the work of the nwo henchmen.
I have five adults and two g'children (who are oblivious) that I would have to prep for, and I simply can't get motivated thanks to their apathy. I do have lots of guns and ammo, so I'll be forced to become a hunter-gather when/if the time comes. My deepest apologies to those I will have to rob, but if the shite really does hit the fan, it will be every man for themselves.
