As most of you know China is officially Godless. Chairman Mao was a fuckwit. That fact does not deter the Chinese believers however. It does not matter to them that The Committee Of 17 says that God does not exist. They answer to a higher authority !!

Bad craziness, that road leads to failure...now where did I put that goddamned dagger?

Damn son, please use some black ink for captioning the videos...the beige on beige is not cutting it for these old tired eyes.

Thanks, all your viewers.

They can't be real Christians. There's no talk of Killing Muslims for Jesus!

I WITHDRAW MY CONSENT!
Any perceived compliance with unconstitutional “laws” or orders put forth by government employees is NOT recognition of their authority; it is simply the result of carefully calculated submission to an entity exhibiting superior firepower.

Dear Lord OOOPPPPSSS! I meant Lod :

I don't think I can control that since the video uploading service does but I'll look into it. I wouldn't want one of my Chronologically Advanced Brothers / Sisters to go blind on my account.

You never did mention whether you liked the article / video or not. I found these folks inspiring.

I found these folks inspiring.

I hope that they all live to a ripe old age with all their organs intact.

Maybe they can persuade the Chairman to join them in a sing-a-long someday soon...

These folks are playing by the HaNaee rules , at least outwardly , so I fully expect that that will indeed be the case. Others however won't be so lucky.

A great-uncle was a Southeron Baptist missionary to China until he, like his friend Chang, had to flee the mainland in fear for his life...he spent the remainder of his life working in Korea and helping place GI-offspring, and other unwanted kids, in homes here.

God bless that man. I have great respect for people that take their faith seriously. He most likely saved a considerable amount of children.Too many Christians talk the talk but when it comes time to walk the walk they're nowhere to be found. I call those types of Christians Kumbaya Christians. I'll be posting something about the havoc they reek in China soon. Stay tuned.

Uncle Rex was the first son, of nine siblings, who born in the early 1880's when many families dedicated the first male to serving the Lord in whatever manner they were led.

He became a foreign missionary and served his entire life.

Question: how did you discover 4, and what about it led you to post your writings here?

Thanks.

Fabulous choir videos, Paul.

The Chinese see the value in Christianity and let it grow. For all their other faults, at least they let their folks breathe free spiritually in that way. I trained Saudis for a long time, and what I found to be the most deadening thing in that land was the absolute religious conformism that is enforced on everyone.

They gave me a villa over there, and the day I got the key and went over to the house with a measuring tape for curtains and such. When I opened the front door I encountered the previous occupant, an American, holding a prayer meeting for a small congregation of Filipinos sitting on the few pieces of company owned furniture left in the place. Beholding the new occupant, these worshippers wrapped things up real fast because we were all in a situation that could have gotten our visas pulled and put us all on the next Saudia flights out of the country - including yours truly who'd innocently walked in on an illegal prayer meeting.

I asked around discretely about what I'd seen, and I found that there were a number of such efforts ongoing over there. There were supposed to be a few secret priests operating in the Kingdom doing christenings and other sacraments very quietly. The Sunni Saudis are so jealous and paranoid about their religion that they barely tolerate other sects of Islam in their country and would be glad to erase them by edict or by force if they could - and believe me they have tried that already. Shooting Shia is not a recent innovation.

But yeah, the dead hand of conformity as you write about in China, kills thought and creativity within a population. But then the Sauds own a unique nation. They don't need thought and creativity among their folk. They can live without it. When they need it, they import it from abroad. That will work as long as the petroleum flows. As nutty as my country is, I used to kiss the earth whenever I got back home.

Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats. - H. L. Mencken

I'm glad you liked the videos.

Chinese Chritians are free to worship as they please UNTIL they cross that line or UNTIL some Yellow Knight Of The HaNazee gets a bug up his ass. The reality is that it's much like Saudia Arabia in that if you don't do it the way you're told you stand a great risk of becoming an organ donor at a Liaoning " Hospital ". Did I mention that that would be an involuntary dodnor?

I have s Shia friend who once told me that Shia Muslims believe that Allah made two mistakes -- the Jews and the Sunnis.

How did you end up in Saudia Arabia? Are you a man of the cloth? A teacher maybe?

Screw it, neither of us will ever get close enough to a coronation to make a difference
