I bet that went right over the heads of most of the audience. What he is saying is that no, he would not take the steps necessary to protect unborn children given the opportunity to do so, he would just pass it off to the Supreme Court to reverse their own ruling.

Yet, he has the vast majority of knuckle draggers and fundies all worked up thinking he's anti-abortion because of moral conviction. He CLAIMS he's anti- abortion so that he gets more votes, and that's it.

Right, Romney is about as pro-life as Obama is. Yet you tell many Republicans that and they think you are a lying liberal just trying to get them to not vote for the Romney so Obama will win.

They better not count on Romney nominating pro-life justices to the Supreme Court, his record in Massachusetts shows even after his "pro-life conversion" in 2004, that he nominated a pro-abortion judge. Those that trust Romney to keep his word are really, really dumb.

The whole Republican Party is as pro-life as Obama is. For proof just look at the actions of the Republican Party when they had complete and total control of the federal government (7 years). How many anti-abortion bills were brought up for a vote? None. How many were written? To my knowledge, only one - The Sanctity of Life Bill - which the Republican leadership refused to allow out of conference.

The abortion issue is for the partisan rubes who need an excuse - no matter how false - to cling to their party.

You see the same thing with over the issue of big government. As long as they can cling to the idea that Republican A's government is 1/2% smaller than Democrat B's government, they will support cling to Republican A, even if Republican A wants to double the size of government. Of course the Republican Party knows this which is why they run left wing candidates like McStain and Robamney.
