Oil spill may result in BP receiving largest tax break ever Birmingham Business Journal Date: Friday, October 19, 2012, 12:02am CDT

BP may receive the largest tax break in United States history as a result of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.

According to al.com, BP has already claimed $10 billion in tax credits from the 2010 disaster.

However, under a deal being negotiated between BP and the federal government, taxpayers could be responsible for paying billions of dollars more to the company. Read More at al.com
