I'm tired of all these "libertarian" pundits telling me that the only "sane" thing for me to do is vote for George W. Robama's mini-me, George W. Obamney.

Cycle after cycle I'm given the lessor of two evil's line by Republicrat morons trying to justify their unwillingness to vote for candidates that represent what they claim to believe in. Within a year of their vote, cycle after cycle, these same moron's are whining about how much they regret their vote and swear they will never do it again, only to act in the exact same way come the next election cycle.

While moron's like LP's out damned spot cry their crocodile tears, whine about being betrayed (again) and tell everyone how much they regret their vote, I've never - not once - regretted NOT voting for the latest Republicrat douche bag to stand on the stage and blow smoke up my ass. I've never regretted casting my vote for a third party candidate, be it Libertarian or Constitution Party. My conscience is clean.

It's not happening. George W. Robamney is NOT getting my vote. I don't give a Tinker's damn if this causes George W. Robama to be reelected. Fuck Obama, fuck Mitt Romney, fuck the Republicrat and Democan party's and fuck those pundit's who tell me it's the only sane thing to do.

Such language....

Anyway, the greatest error the Founding Fathers made many years ago, was this.

They committed a gross error in over estimating the intelligence of future voters. First they never anticipated nor considered the concept of "PROFESSIONAL POLITICIANS". Second, term limits were rejected.

They were smart enough to include a positive method of removing rogue governments at one fell swoop, EVERY TWO YEARS.

Tomorrow, intelligent voters COULD RUN OFF THE ENTIRE WHOREHOUSE AND A GOOD PORTION OF THE SENSELESS SENATE. That would bring this criminal government to a halt.

But they wont. Ninety five per cent of the incumbents will be returned to the payroll, free to fleece the Rubes one more time.

Vote if one likes, however the forecast for this year is for an all time high of non voters.

The problem is the press Cyni. If we actually had a free press on television, they'd be doing investigative reports, blowing the whistle on coverups, and telling it how it really is.

Till that day comes, we'll just get more of the same.

And oh yeah, by not voting you're giving them the green light to just keep right on doing what they're doing, since they view your non-vote as a victory.

"The real deal is this: the ‘royalty’ controlling the court, the ones with the power, the ones with the ability to make a difference, with the ability to change our course, the ones who will live in infamy if we pass the tipping points, are the captains of industry, CEOs in fossil fuel companies such as EXXON/Mobil, automobile manufacturers, utilities, all of the leaders who have placed short-term profit above the fate of the planet and the well-being of our children." - James Hansen

Too true.

Over the years as instant worldwide communications became possible, the ability to brainwash and program the masses, increased ten fold.

In the 1930s we had a daily three cent newspaper that could be trusted somewhat, if one lived outside the reading area of the NYT etc etc. Local rags were owned by local people so the paper was fairly honest.

These days all outlets of the media are in the hands of a very few people, evil people with an agenda and the money to program their will. They have succeeded.

Personally, I think they should of tried something other than building a roman style government (they had professional politicians) to maintain the new nation.

Then again I wasn't there.

I am here however, as are we all.Online. Hello humanity. It is nice to meet myself.

I think we need to rethink this government thing in the US because as it is , it's killing us.

Excellent idea, long overdue.

However tomorrow, 130 million Americans will vote their approval of this criminal government.

Just think of it, tomorrow voters COULD THROW OUT THE ENTIRE HOUSE AND START AFRESH.

What a wonderful concept. Send the dirty lot of them back to the holes they came from.

How?

The president is choosen by 500 some odd electors , the senate is chosen by state legislatures, the supreme court is appointed,

about all johnny Q does in the poll booth is vote for his or her representative.

and I think all the representatives fail in there duties. They can not effectively represent us properly. It is not possible.

If it were possible then they would of already listened to our petitions. They would of heeded our protests. They would not of invaded every other motherfucking country on earth to maintain control on a monopoly based on an outdated resource.

Their is a place for horses, and sail boats, and gasoline, and that place is in the past. But oh for the greedy SOBs in political power...

Anyways... yeah the constitution spells this all out in the articles.... I think the 17th is really kinda vauge and I know state to state senator qualifications vary...so one can only conclude that some state legislatures if not all pursued courses of action circumvent or just ignore the 17th. .... and we the public pay for the shows that put their happy related asses back into their political offices. Meh.

www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/amendmentxvii

ELECTOR QUALIFICATIONS

It was the original constitutional scheme to vest the determination of qualifications for electors in congressional elections solely in the discretion of the States, save only for the express requirement that the States could prescribe no qualifications other than those provided for voters for the more numerous branch of the legislature. This language has never been expressly changed, but the discretion of the States, and not only with regard to the qualifications of congressional electors, has long been circumscribed by express constitutional limitations and by judicial decisions. Further, beyond the limitation of discretion on the part of the States, Congress has assumed the power, with judicial acquiescence, to legislate to provide qualifications at least with regard to some elections.

Congress assumed power by their own authority....

That happens in an imperial system.

the best one can do is to follow the political advice I received during my nine plus years in the Philippines; the bulk of the political signage simply said "boycott the elections".

How?

Founding Fathers thot it quite simple , every two years, the entire House could be retired.

However, the majority of the voters have been and are unable to understand the concept.

The stupidity of modern voters is an established fact. They elected one man President and he did not campaign, they have kept men in office to the age of 100, a few have "served" for 50 years or more, proving that stupidity runs in the family.

Basic problem...Majority of citizens are brainwashed and programmed, and do NOT realize or admit it.

Good advice.

The Soviets really rigged the game. Voting was made mandatory, and only one person per office was allowed.

That way everyone did their patriotic duty.

Vote Johnson...it's absolutely NOT a wasted vote...if the liberterian party can get just 5% of the vote they become eligable for federal matching funds...it is vitally important that this one party system be brought down.

I concur: the citizenry, at their own peril, re-elect the House by and large instead of throwing the bums out with great prejudice.

Squib from Jeff Greenfield... about voting.

"Well, that’s your right. Unlike the Australians, we don’t compel people to vote, and it would likely be a First Amendment violation if we tried. A refusal to vote can be seen as a statement that the electoral system is rigged, meaningless or so thoroughly corrupt as to deserve contempt. (“I never vote,” one citizen said long ago. “It only encourages them.”)

If one reads Madisons notes taken during the Convention, it is quite clear that among the Fathers, the concept was that men would serve for a "season", then return home to resume their normal life and toil.

Little did they reckon for future lawyers that needed a lifetime job, without working.
