"Rep. Ron Paul, whose maverick presidential bids shook the GOP, said in the wake of this week's elections that the country has already veered over the fiscal cliff and he sees no chance of righting ship in a country where too many people are dependent on government".

Too many will not admit that it is indeed too late, there is no going back, total collapse or war, one or both is our destiny.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a constitution-resuscitating military coup or a series of coordinated EMP blasts.

the quality of a man’s life is directly proportionate to
his commitment to excellence.’

Mr. Paul, who is retiring after 12 terms in the House, said voters on Tuesday rejected Mitt Romney because he had opposed the government bailout of General Motors and Chrysler.

I think the good doctor is starting to get a bit senile.

He should KNOW that his followers didn't vote for Romney because they viewed him as the devil incarnate in terms of what he stood for.

He should ALSO know that a good number of people other than Paul supporters saw Mitt Romney for who he was, a glamed up two bit crook who would bend over backwards to enrich the rich even further, while sucking the life blood out of middle class America, what's left of it, in order to PAY his filthly rich top 0.1% their "share" of the pie.

I don't know of anyone personally who said they were going to vote for Romney. There was ONE guy who had a Romney sign in his yard, and ONE guy who came by the house campaigning for Romney.

He not only didn't generate any enthuasism in voters, he motivated them to either vote for Obama or stay home.

"The real deal is this: the ‘royalty’ controlling the court, the ones with the power, the ones with the ability to make a difference, with the ability to change our course, the ones who will live in infamy if we pass the tipping points, are the captains of industry, CEOs in fossil fuel companies such as EXXON/Mobil, automobile manufacturers, utilities, all of the leaders who have placed short-term profit above the fate of the planet and the well-being of our children." - James Hansen

Here in the hills, we have few blacks, so there were no Obongo signs and few Oromney signs.

Election day was a non event.

Not much incentive when your only option was whether you wanted to be shot or hung.

NO!

I kinda resent the people being vilified at this point... sheeple that they are, it is not like they were ever given a real choice. Just like the 04 choice between skullman bush or skullman kerry. That was no choice. Nor was this last election... In fact the only real reason to have a race at all is just in case an alternate needs to take up the throne in cases an unexpected death.

I voted Johnson with you lod... and at my polling station the many were in the 21 to 35 age range... god knows who they voted for or if it even mattered. In the end we Got more of the same which is what we all expected regardless of the outcome. We are over that cliff Ron speaks of but We went over that cliff before this race started.... Who knows, it may yet be my generation that rights this fallen nation. One never knows.

It will never be righted.

Far too late for that.

This criminal corrupt government is now too big, too strong for us.

Don't blame me. I didn't vote.

After twenty five years military and civil "service" they are too big too strong.

Government is eating us alive, like a huge cancer. A surgeons scalpel will not do. A meat clever would be more apt for the job. Many agencies need to be totally disbanded, over night.

CIA is one, FBI is another, DOE on and on, leave town go away.

That's one more than I know/saw.

I think it's time to put Ron Paul away and discuss our future going forward. This might disturb the more obsessed among us, but windy political chatter boxes have little value.

The strategy used to defeat the Rs in this, and all future elections, has been clear cut since the mid 70s. Before I state what should be obvious, can anyone tell me the difference between the illegal immigration policies of Romney and Obama? Of McCain and Obama? Of Bush 43 and John Kerry? Bush 43 and Gore? You get the picture; there is no difference. All would continue to allow illegals to flow into this country unimpeded. And taking just the Latinos alone, a full 70% voted for the D who is from the Party of perceived giveaways. This choice by our "guest workers" comes as no surprise to me. Add to this, illegals are accumulating in seven key electoral states. These states are; Ohio, Florida, Wisconsin, Colorado, Virginia, Nevada and North Carolina. You can add Texas to this group as the Southern portion of the state has become a deep Blue and the population of Hispanics to Whites, as of today, tips in favor of Hispanics. With California and NY already firmly in the clutches of the Ds, based on the electoral college vote alone, this silent invasion has ensured that White Republicans will never again be elected President. It's a simple strategy that worked like a charm thanks to feckless politicians of both stripes.

Sooner or later I believe the Legions will have to save us.

The minorities will be shocked, as they always are, at what that fist will do to them.

There are actually govt agents who spread conspiracy theories among the gullible to help promote the illusion that the govt is all powerful.

Americans do not have the resolve for revolution, that leaves a military effort as the only way out.

Our failings are but one, and that is the masses (us) are easily led by false pied pipers. The masses refuse to believe that this country is falling FROM WITHIN, BY DESIGN.

I would argue that just perhaps "they" were in on 911.

They were on the winning side???

I stopped voting after the first Jr. Bush run. Just sick and tired of scum.
