Amazing, is it not? No matter who gets elected, or who 'comes to power,' nothing changes..... except that the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer. Oh, and, of course, there are more and more poor in every country. Yet people continually 'believe,' if we just get out more voters..... we can change SOMETHING! And everyone has a different idea of what that SOMETHING should be. In other words, no one has a clue as to what needs, or CAN, be done.

Well, maybe perhaps someone has a clue, if anyone is listening.

Daniel 2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. (King James Version - KJV)

Daniel 2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a Kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the Kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. (21st Century King James - 21KJ)

Why is this new government necessary?

Jeremiah 10:23 O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps. KJV

Jeremiah 10:23 O Lord [pleads Jeremiah in the name of the people], I know that [the determination of] the way of a man is not in himself; it is not in man [even in a strong man or in a man at his best] to direct his [own] steps. Amplified Bible (AMP)

Not very hard to understand if you simply look around you at the current condition of the world. And things, very obviously, are getting worse. Fast.

Man was not designed to rule himself. This was shown in the Garden of Eden with the very first man. Did Adam make his own rules? No. His rules came from his Heavenly Father. (Luke 4:38) Thus, his government was a Heavenly government, or, if you wish, a Heavenly Kingdom. (2 Timothy 4:18)

Did this somehow change? Absolutely not! (Malachi 3:6)

This was also demonstrated with the Israelites, or Jews, if you prefer. When our Heavenly Father led them out of Egypt, He was there King, but, they rejected Him.

1 Samuel 8:7 And the Lord said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them. KJV

1 Samuel 8:7 And the Lord said to Samuel, Hearken to the voice of the people in all they say to you; for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me, that I should not be King over them. AMP

And so our Heavenly Father was rejected, for a second time, from ruling over His children, in favor of a visible, earthly king. And we all know how well that worked out for the Israelites/Jews. Kind of reminds us of what is going on today in this world. Or at least it should.

Since man has never had the ability to rule over himself, it should not come as a surprise that man has a ruler, even if man does not understand or accept that fact. Now, do we have a witness who has given us knowledge about this ruler that we can trust.

Of course we do. That witness is Jesus himself. The Faithful Witness. (Rev. 1:5)

Luke 22:31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: KJV

Luke 22:31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: 21KJ

Luke 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. KJV

Luke 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. 21KJ

Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: KJV

Matthew 25:41 “Then shall He say also unto them on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 21KJ

So Jesus spoke about Satan the Devil, and, his words have been faithfully recorded for us to help us to understand what is happening on this earth.

Do we have another Witness in the Bible. Of course. EVERYTHING in the Bible has multiple witnesses to it! That is a part of the foundation Law of our Heavenly Father!!

Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them.

7 And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. KJV

Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons (the angels) of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan (the adversary and accuser) also came among them.

7 And the Lord said to Satan, From where did you come? Then Satan answered the Lord, From going to and fro on the earth and from walking up and down on it. AMP

We are given a second, and important witness to this, also in the Book of Job.

Job 2:1 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the Lord.

2 And the Lord said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. KJV

Job 2:1 Again there was a day when the sons of God [the angels] came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan (the adversary and the accuser) came also among them to present himself before the Lord.

2 And the Lord said to Satan, From where do you come? And Satan (the adversary and the accuser) answered the Lord, From going to and fro on the earth and from walking up and down on it. AMP

The Bible, and Jesus himself, clearly shows that Satan the Devil is a very real spirit creature. And yes, I have seen the Bible teaching that Satan is simply a part of our Heavenly Father, but that contradicts what the Bible teaches, for example, that there is no unrighteous in Him. Psalms 92:15, Rev. 4:8. And that He does not act wickedly; James 1:13, 14; Job 34:10-12.

Now, does the Bible teach us anything else about Satan the Devil? Oh, my, yes!

Luke 4:5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. KJV

Luke 4:5 And the devil, taking Him up onto a high mountain, showed unto Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

6 And the devil said unto Him, “All this power will I give Thee, and the glory of them; for this has been delivered unto me, and to whomsoever I will, I give it. 21KJ

What does Satan have? He has ALL of the authority over ALL of the kingdoms, or governments, of this earth. This is confirmed in Daniel 10:13 & 20. Here, and angel of the True God came to visit with Daniel, at the request of Daniel, but the Prince of Persia was standing in opposition to the angel. Since a man can not stand in opposition to someone that he can not see, we understand that the Prince of Persia was a demonic angel, trying to stop the our Father's angel from seeing Daniel. Verse 20 confirms this, and also: "Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come."

Do we have other witnesses in the Bible to this? Yes, we do.

In the words of Jesus;

John 14:30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me. KJV

John 14:30 I will not talk with you much more, for the prince (evil genius, ruler) of the world is coming. And he has no claim on Me. [He has nothing in common with Me; there is nothing in Me that belongs to him, and he has no power over Me.] (AMP)

The most common translation of this verse uses the word 'ruler of this world.' The context clearly indicates that this is correct.

You may also read about this in John 12:31 and John 16:11.

2 Corinthians 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. KJV

2 Corinthians 4:3 But even if our Gospel (the glad tidings) also be hidden (obscured and covered up with a veil that hinders the knowledge of God), it is hidden [only] to those who are perishing and obscured [only] to those who are spiritually dying and veiled [only] to those who are lost.

4 For the god of this world has blinded the unbelievers’ minds [that they should not discern the truth], preventing them from seeing the illuminating light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ (the Messiah), Who is the Image and Likeness of God. AMP

Every Bible calls Satan the god of this system, or governance, of things. He is 'the ruler.' Is it any wonder, that no matter who gets elected, nothing changes? Of course not, for the real power, behind the throne, can only be affected by a power greater than his. The power of our Heavenly Father. Let us look at one more Bible witness.

Ephesians 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: KJV

Ephesians 2:2 In which at one time you walked [habitually]. You were following the course and fashion of this world [were under the sway of the tendency of this present age], following the prince of the power of the air. [You were obedient to and under the control of] the [demon] spirit that still constantly works in the sons of disobedience [the careless, the rebellious, and the unbelieving, who go against the purposes of God]. AMP

Interesting, is it not?

Proverbs 24:21 My son, fear thou the Lord and the king: and meddle not with them that are given to change: KJV

Proverbs 24:21 My son, [reverently] fear the Lord and the king, and do not associate with those who are given to change [of allegiance, and are revolutionary],

Everyone wants change. Why? Perhaps because they have no faith in our Heavenly Father and His Purposes, which are close to being fulfilled. Perhaps we can visit about what Jesus meant when he said, you are no part of the world (of Satan), and understanding may begin. Of course, you might think about this, and about what it means to do an act of worship to Satan (Luke 4:7). And what it means to participate in any part of his system of things (Would voting for his candidates come to mind, and, why nothing changes no matter who gets elected? Think deeply about it, please.)

I would assume by this article that you are a Jehovah's Witness. I'll be honest that I used to judge such things but since I have started following the teachings of another church considered a "cult" by most Christians, (Shephard's Chapel pastored by Arnold, Dennis and David Murrey) I no longer make such judgements as they strongly discouraged by Shepherd's Chapel.

And why would you assume that? Are you thus claiming that no one else has Bible knowledge?

I am flattered, actually, as the Biblical knowledge of the Jehovah's Witnesses is well known. To be ranked beside them is a true compliment. Thank you.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that. They don't believe Jesus Christ is God.

They don't believe Jesus Christ is God.

I understand that. Neither do I. And the King James Bible is VERY clear on this matter.

Colossians 1:15 King James Version (KJV) 15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

The basis of the word creature is created.

Psalm 90:2 King James Version (KJV) 2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.

Almighty God was not created and has no beginning nor end. Anyone who is created, by definition, can not be Almighty God.

I just love the King James Bible!!

Of course, you, as is true of everyone, will believe whatever you wish to believe. But a loving Father does not confuse His children, by using words such as "my Son, the beloved," in order to test them.

Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death. 53Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself? 54Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God: 55Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying. 56Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. 57Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? 58Jesus [Son] said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM. Colossians 1:15 King James Version (KJV) 15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

actually it means more than that. Strong's refers to Greek #2937 which refers to 2936, which refers to 2932.

"...the firstborn of every creature; not the first of the creation, or the first creature God made; for all things in Colossians 1:16 are said to be created by him, and therefore he himself can never be a creature; nor is he the first in the new creation, for the apostle in the context is speaking of the old creation, and not the new:...."

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

I love Isaiah 9:6.

http://www.bibleanswerstand.org/God.htm

The word god simply is a title. Basically, it means 'invoked one' or, depending on use, powerful one. Nothing more.

Isaiah 9:6 is very clear. One of the titles that Jesus carries is like Christ, which means anointed (as does Messiah: one being Greek, and the other, Hebrew). Only this title is Mighty God. What it DOES NOT SAY IS; Almighty God, which title belongs only to the Heavenly Father.

And just like the title Christ, someone has to do the appointing. To be a Mighty God, someone has to give him that power. See Philippians 2:9 (at the end).

The same way, you will carefully note that Jesus is NOT called Father. He has a different title; everlasting Father, and it means something entirely different.

In addition, he is not titled as King, but as the Prince of Peace. Rather clear, is it not? The Father is the King, and the first born son is ALWAYS the prince; see Colossians 1:15.

If Jesus is God, and only he is, then the following verses in the Bible make no sense whatever;

Philippians 2:9 King James Version (KJV) 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
