This petition like many needs the help of many people to succeed.It is time to break the chains of washington d.c. and lay new guards for our future.

Take a look at those petitions. They're posted on the White House website as petitions TO THE PRESIDENT. And take a look at the other petitions posted:

There's a petition to legalize marijuana that's already got something like three times the signatures of any of the secession petitions. There's another to make it a crime "to offend the Prophet Mohammed" that's already got four or five times as many.

Even if a million people signed a petition to secede, what would - or could - the President do with it?

he would have to take notice that we are fed up...let us not forget it has already been done once before in our history...the alternative is less then desireable...there will be war here someday..is that what all of you want?.
