newrepublicoftexas.com/petition-4/ I was sent this link by a friend of mine in liberty hill. It is a petition to insist the subject be brought in our Texas state legislature... We, the undersigned Texans demand that the Governor of the state of Texas, Texas House of Representatives and Senate exercise their rights and mandate a vote of all Texas Residents to secede from the United States of America, and form a NEW Independent Republic – The New Republic of Texas. This New Republic shall enter into an agreement with the United States of America settling any outstanding debts or land disputes, and shall form its own army to protect its borders, collect its taxes, and manage the government for the welfare, freedom, and liberty of its citizens.

Because the petition to the president is only a head count and a public statement. Our boys in our capitol. I admire Texans for their efforts to break off from the Titanic. I wager in CA I'd find maybe 1 dozen (tops) who would sign such a petition. I think all us texans can remember Perry Advocated secession... And while all the intelligent ones among us knew he was blowing out hot air for votes he still said it and he can still be made to squirm over it and in the very end.... Our legislature can decide. Fuck him. WHY? Because our legislature already had to explain to him in slow small words that he was the governor of texas and not the president of texas. Perry doesn't know the difference. Total waste of time, Saint Abraham Lincoln made the bloody point that secession would not happen and happily sacrificed over 650,000 Americans in establishing a centralized authoritarian Federal government. Does anybody think that NIGPOTUS will let any state walk away from the reach of the IRS???

Thanks for that piece of modern history. I forgot ( or rather blotted it out of my mind) that TheBiggestHoaxInUSHistory used Abe's Bible for his "oath" of office. What a laugh - the irony or the symmetry however one wishes to view the symbolism - so perfect. I see some folks here saying they didn't vote as tho it absolves of the guilt for the Fate that lies ahead for middle class Whitey's. The next 4 years under Bammy's Reign of Terror will be a bumpy ride. Nesters haven't figured out yet that they are on the same train as us to Hell. It's not how you voted or your station in life - it's your skin color, dumb asses. Wake up.
