I polish the sears on my rifles on real fine Arkansas stone. Then I use stick molybdenum lube on the load surfaces. It's like having a trigger job done on your gun.

Moly works great on semi-auto slide rails too. It works itself into the grain in the surface of metals. It's dry and doesn't absorb dirt and crud.
