The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) has been passed again. By a vote of 98-0, the 2013 NDAA was unanimously passed in the Senate Tuesday evening. Sen. Rockefeller (D-WV) and Sen. Kirk (R-IL) abstained from voting. The controversial bill authorizes funding for the 2013 military.

Somewhere, in the midst of the $650 billion funding bill, mixed in with $88.5 billion for ongoing wars and $60 billion for the Navy’s F-18 fighter program, remains the indefinite detention clause that had many so upset in 2012. An amendment to the 2013 NDAA included the right to trial for “citizens and permanent legal residents”, despite the fact that the Constitution demands all accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) angered many of his father’s supporters by voting for the 2013 NDAA. Doug Stafford, Paul’s chief of staff, stated that Sen. Paul believes that “the full panoply of due process rights should apply to all persons, not just American citizens.” Sen. Paul, however, still voted for the passage of the NDAA.

Seems like Rand Paul has caught the same virus which infects 99.9% of this country's politicians. Subserviance to the party, liberty and freedom be damned.

And the party is up for sale to the highest bidder.

"The real deal is this: the ‘royalty’ controlling the court, the ones with the power, the ones with the ability to make a difference, with the ability to change our course, the ones who will live in infamy if we pass the tipping points, are the captains of industry, CEOs in fossil fuel companies such as EXXON/Mobil, automobile manufacturers, utilities, all of the leaders who have placed short-term profit above the fate of the planet and the well-being of our children." - James Hansen

It is my opinion that children are the reflection of their upbringing and that bad apples fall from bad trees.

The pauls used to have my support.

Now they keep my contempt.

Fathers and sons behave like one another, they share political ideas and religious ideas. While our kids may not be cloned copies of us.... they remain our reflections given flesh.

Rand is a bad apple. A very bad apple. He did not fall far from his tree.

I have said this before and I do so here again , not one , not a single one congressman in federal office are trustworthy. They are all snakes. All of them.

Ron Paul has no political career to worry about anymore with his retirement right?

He still aint saying 911 was an inside job but rather sticks to the "It was our fault" story. He can be as blunt as he wants to be now. Instead we are treated to the vacuum of silence. And did all the money bombs help anything? What of his endorsement of Mitt? Oh I can go on. this is the light weight stuff here. I have issue with all my congressmen but I have the biggest issues with the ones that pretend to be good.

Everyone had such high hopes for rand...

Turns out the POS likes having his boot licked by the lower classes.

May he pay in kind for his vote.

aww comeon. not everything is good & evil, compromise is needed, (so taught rand in his dailypaul propaganda interview after marrying romney). "A few NDAA indefinite detentions & executions big deal- at least i let them buy raw milk! Bwahaha"

ron paul is busy sending C4L solicitations begging for more money with his buddy "john tate". After all, you know how many MILLIONS it takes to send out more emails begging for money.. What a truly worthless & contemptable group.

Stop !!! Stop right there !!!! Say no more !!!

That alone is the truth and needs no elaboration. Until Americans determine to dismantle, disregard, destroy and decide to remove all FEDERAL interaction from their lives they will rock back and forth like a ship on a stormy sea without a rudder. Drifting aimlessly being tossed to and fro at the whim of the FEDERAL TSUNAMI.

Treason has conspired with Greed and colluded with Murderers to overthrow "OUR" country.

compromise is needed

Our rights can not be compromised, especially by others without our agreement.

We either have and enjoy them or we don't.

Compromise has been made by those that claim to represent us but don't ever represent me.

Just because they have "cut deals" to restrict "MY RIGHTS" don't make it so regardless of appearances.

My rights (and yours) existed long before the FEDERAL FRAUD and are inalienable.

Nature's God (The Almighty Creator) can take them since He gave them with every life created.

Treason has conspired with Greed and colluded with Murderers to overthrow "OUR" country.

"Bankers" - Kill em all and let Satan sort em out" !!!
