So, I assume that many here dont opt for so-called "health insurance" presently. Next year its 'mandatory' under a 2k tax 'penalty'?Yet to get care in that system one must comply with edicts, get vaccines etc?

Poster Comment:

Personallly ive never paid for health insurance. DOnt want it. or need it. Even when its offered cheaply thru an employer. Thats not the issue. Doctors when needed can be seen very cheaply for cash. Yet what about the looming "tax PENALTY"?

As long as Mrs.L works for the state of TX, I'm covered, and at 65 I was automatically enrolled in Medicare part A which covers whatever is not covered by our primary policy.

I've only gone to a doctor when I've actually got a real serious problem. Other than that I really do avoid them. Even when I've gotten to flu, I just deal with it on my own. But regarding method of payment, I've always paid in cash. Even when I broke out on hives from some detergent a few years ago and had to see a doctor. It cost me $135.00. And that was not for the prescription medicine included. They sent me a paper bill, and I went up to their office and paid in cash and made certain I got a receipt. No problem.

Civil disobedience. Let's see how many people FedGov can throw into prison for non-compliance.
