Amazing!

I had to stop when he got to the Charms Bar, how lame is that?

Great obituary for Win8.

If that pos is too complicated for a man who was using SLACKWARE years ago it is most certainly too complicated for the average user.

Rather than trying to force desktop users into using an OS designed for tablets, they should have created it as a new OS for tablets and named it Windowpane, or maybe WindowPain... :)

They should have left the desktop interface of Windows 7 alone, or tweaked it into something a bit cooler, but changing it to a touch screen orientated UI which can only run one window at a time in the foreground is not much better than old DOS applications.

A startpage.com inquiry 'does anyone like windows 8' returned 59M+ results.

8 many prove a bigger dog than Vista or ME.

I keep awaiting this olde XP box's death so I can fire up my now two year old i27 machine.

Hell, I might croak before this pc does.

If it sucks and blows at the same time like those two did that should pretty much be the end of Microsux. There are better--far better--options and some of them are virtually free (download an iso, burn it to a disk, and voila, operating system!).

Vista wasn't half bad once they worked out the bugs. Windows ME has ALWAYS sucked, it was probably the worst OS they've ever released, till Windows 8.

Windows 8 will most likely be THE biggest flop they've ever had.

Do you mean i7? You can still get Windows 7 online, load that baby up.

Hell, I might croak before this pc does.

My old ones are still kicking too, but I've put them away in boxes or they're just hanging around collecting dust. If you have an I7 I'd put that sucker to use.
