Frankly we have no idea what this is all about, because as far as we are concerned, CNN long ago became a politicized, ratings-starved farce, wrapped in a joke inside a humiliation (after once upon a time being the only go to place for objective breaking news), but it is rather funny. The Hill reports that "a White House petition calling for the deportation of CNN personality Piers Morgan, a U.K. citizen, over his recent comments criticizing U.S. gun laws rocketed past the 25,000 signatures it needed for an official response Monday. As of this writing, nearly 40,000 people had signed a petition demanding “Mr. Morgan be deported immediately for his effort to undermine the Bill of Rights and for exploiting his position as a national network television host to stage attacks against the rights of American citizens.” A petition on the White House's “We the People” website needs 25,000 signatures in the first month of being posted to earn an official administration response. “I don't care about petition to deport me,” Morgan tweeted Monday. “I do care about poor NY firefighters murdered/injured with an assault weapon today. #GunControlNow.”

Politico adds:

CNN anchor Piers Morgan isn’t benefiting from much Christmas cheer, at least according to one measure: the number of signers on a petition urging the White House to deport Morgan has skyrocketed by Tuesday morning past 60,000 names.

The petition, created last week, had 60,080 supporters and is posted on the White House’s official petition site. It slams Morgan for comments he has made regarding gun control in the wake of the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School that killed 20 children and six adults at the school.

By Monday, the petition had passed at least 25,000 signatures — the number required to receive a White House response.

Back to The Hill:

The furor over Morgan’s comments began after a contentious interview between the CNN host and Larry Pratt, the executive director of Gun Owners of America.

During the interview on his CNN show, "Piers Morgan Tonight," Morgan hammered Pratt and his defense of the 2nd Amendment and American gun laws.

"The argument I keep hearing is 'well if everybody else was armed, it wouldn't happen.' It's a load of total hogwash," Morgan told Pratt and other gun rights advocates who appeared on the show.

"How many more kids have to die, before you guys say, 'we want less guns, not more?'" Morgan added.

His comments came as Pratt and others discussed the recent Sandy Hook School massacre in Newtown, Connecticut, in which 27 people -- including 20 young children -- were shot by 20-year old Adam Lanza.

So let's see: a Brit unhappy with the Second Amendment and knowing best how to override the US constitution?

More importantly in this case, a Brit desperate to stir up a popular response and any social outcry for those all important TV ratings and, of course, the year end bonus?

Well, he achieved his goal.

Those who wish to endorse making Morgan a UK problem can do so here.

Well, for one thing the illegal occupant now in the White House will not give this any kind of favorable response if he responds at all. And as far as the Kenyan is concerned Piers Morgan is an ally who is trying to help destroy the country. Why anyone would believe Obama would even entertain such a thought, that of deporting someone he is in complete agreement with, is beyond me.

Disenchanted [ZH poster]

from wiki:

Morgan studied Journalism at Harlow College. After a brief career at Lloyds of London,

so the 'square mile' loosed him upon the world...imagine that.

The "square mile" that the poster Disenchanted refers to is a section of London commandeered by a certain clannish & insular tribe of "Eastern Europeans of non-Christian descent", AKA Inuit/Eskimos (hat tip to my good friend HOUNDDAWG) as their stolen homeland away from stolen homeland, known as "The City" or London financial district.

Effin' money-grubbing, greedy, hook-nosed Eskimos.

www.infowars.com/the-law-says-deport-piers-morgan/

A petition on the White House website calling for CNN host Piers Morgan to be deported is likely to reach 25,000 signatures, a benchmark that will mandate a White House response.

The petition, which was initiated by Infowars, states;

British Citizen and CNN television host Piers Morgan is engaged in a hostile attack against the U.S. Constitution by targeting the Second Amendment. We demand that Mr. Morgan be deported immediately for his effort to undermine the Bill of Rights and for exploiting his position as a national network television host to stage attacks against the rights of American citizens.

Infowars is calling for Morgan’s deportation for a number of very specific reasons.

- It’s one thing for an American citizen to ideologically assault and trash the Constitution, although odious such activity would be protected under the First Amendment, but Piers Morgan is a foreigner in a position of influence on prime time television. He is a foreign agent using his power to lobby for the constitutional rights of American citizens to be overturned.

- In response to Morgan’s claim about the First Amendment, James Taranto of the Wall Street Journal pointed to a transcript of Kleindienst v. Mandel, a 1972 U.S. Supreme Court ruling. It validated an effort by then attorney general Richard Kleindienst to refuse Marxist Belgian journalist Ernest Mandel entry into the country. The Court ruled that denying Mandel entry did not violate the First Amendment.

- If I was on British television every night calling for the Queen to be dethroned and kicked out on the streets, many British people would also call for me to be deported. Morgan is subverting the very foundation of American freedom, the second amendment.

- In joining with others like Mayor Bloomberg to lobby for Americans’ rights to be revoked and their property and birthright to be removed, Morgan is committing a clear act of subversion and should be deported. The fact that he is visiting with President Obama and posing for photos with him is also of grave concern.

- Morgan has ideologically aligned himself with other foreign agents in trashing the Constitution, including synthetic citizens like his CNN colleague Fareed Zakaria, the Communist Chinese government, and the Russian government (via state-controlled media).

- In other tweets, Morgan openly brags about how he is a foreign agent coming to conquer America.

- Piers Morgan’s claim that he had no knowledge of the phone hacking scandal has been described by Lord Justice Leveson as “utterly unpersuasive”. Morgan should be extradited back to Britain to face charges for his alleged involvement in the scandal.

- Public officials tasked with representing the interests of the American people have to swear an oath to uphold and protect the Constitution. In aggressively and repeatedly attempting to eviscerate that very Constitution, Piers Morgan has singled himself out as a threat to the liberties of the American people.

Although it’s likely that the White House will be forced to issue a glib response to the petition, we don’t think it’s likely that Piers Morgan will be deported. However, if all the media attention that has been focused on Morgan’s offensive and dangerous rhetoric serves as a reminder that foreigners have no business telling Americans what rights should and should not apply to them under the Constitution, then the White House petition will have been worth it.

Fast forward thirty years and change Christian to white and that is what will be happening here in the US. Romney would have been far better than Hussein on every issue.

He doesn't have to do anything illegal. He is here at the pleasure of the US Government. He can leave at our pleasure any time.

Like the Kenyan who is illegally occupying the White House what time he isn't wasting resources and money by flying around all over the world in Air Force One and taking vacations that cost in excess of five million dollars a pop. And that isn't even counting the numerous trips the Sasquatch has taken and all the money spent on her and their children.
