But yes, it might be intentional.
there's no link yet. it just finished. i'm sure it will be on youtube. lord. he gave his detractors so much *ammo* against the anti gun controllers. he behaved like a raving maniac which left viewers most likely thinking that if he'd had a semiauto with him, he'd probably would have shot everyone on the set.

Yep. Evidently, being hassled by the TSA and then drinking two pots of coffee leads to what we just saw. Great passion on Alex's part, but completely incoherent. Alex's argument should have been simple. The Second Amendment is part of the Constitution which is the highest law of the land. "How would you like it, Piers, if we decided that Cable Commentary Shows weren't in the nation's interest and pulled yours from the air? You'd be screaming "First Amendment" in about two seconds. Piers, you look like you've eaten something very sour. No witty comeback?" A people unwilling to use force, once diplomatic efforts have been exhausted, in order to preserve or obtain their liberty deserves the tyrants that rule over them.
I kinda got a kick out of that. lmao!

Christine I am at a loss for words. Just unbelievable. If someone was sitting in their living room and watching this what do you think was their impression ? I almost felt sorry for Morgan. This is the man that has stated on his program that he is the leader of the patriot movement. Good God!

I don't watch or listen to Alex Jones or to Piers Morgan. So I think I can be pretty objective in my impression of this interview. Alex Jones had all the facts at his finger tips - he was well prepared, I'll give him that - but because he tried so hard to squeeze every fact in, obviously fearing he would not have a chance, he'd be cut off - Jones does come across frenzied and frazzled - Piers Morgan plays Jones like a piano. It's too bad. I agree with you, JT. I think the anti-gun folks won re: this particular interview because Jones was too intense, too fearful, too emotional - symbolizing the type of irrational gun owner MSM wants to show as justifying gun control, ie. not wanting the Jones kind of person getting his hands on lethal weapons. Someone should have tazed Jones and dragged him off the stage.

Alex should have brought this up, but he was too angry I suppose to think clearly. Looking at people killed with guns in each country is not the right way to compare homicide in America and homicide in Great Britain. The correct way to compare it is to look at all homicides regardless of the way the person was killed. The total for 2010 in the USA is 14,748. The total for Great Britain in 2010 is 636. But since America has approx 6 times the population of Great Britain to properly compare the two nations regarding homicide rates you must either multiply the Great Britain stats by 6 or divide the USA stats by 6. If you multiply the Great Britain stats for homicide in 2010 by 6 it is 3,816. That is a lot less than America, but Great Britain also has a much lower amount of illegal immigrants than the USA and that inflates the USA numbers by quite a bit. Many Mexican criminals wanted for murder in Mexico come to the USA to avoid being captured. They continue their life of crime here and inflate our homicide numbers.

Precisely. The proper way to win this debate is to just say, "We have a Constitution. It is the highest law of the land." That throws the ball back and makes it very hot for them to touch. ANY response along the "Well nothing is absolute" or "They didn't mean an M16!" is met with, "Well, the First Amendment didn't forsee obnoxious Cable Talk-Jocks either. When are you terminating your show?" The point is, you're not going to win on their turf and on their terms. You have to play the Schoolteacher Game with them and leave them with a binary choice -- the choice you want and something nobody wants. I know I'd get just as mad as AJ listening to Morgan ooze out the predictable blend of cant and recrimination we've become familiar with that's always directed toward 2nd Amendment folks. I don't think Jones lost any true believers - and he planted seeds regarding pharmaceuticals, low murder rates re: semi-automatics, genocide where guns are banned and the tyrant always bans the gun. Somebody has to get angry - the 2nd Amendment sits precariously on the edge of death. Someone has to "SCREAM" the communists are coming, the fascist are coming, and wake America out of its CNN coma. That being said, you are right that Jones tries to place to much info into the conversation all at once, which may be too much for the comatose. However, these folks aren't going to resist anything govt mandates. (Are they ?) To his credit though, the TV hosts take advantage of a restrained or timid guest, and he know it. (There are a kazillion examples of so-called conservative hosts like Bill Is'Raeli, Scam Hannity, Michael Scurvy, Glenn Buck, and the Russian Jew, Michael Mevedev, walking all over someone they've invited to debate. I'm sure Jones saw this as a live opportunity and may have over-played his hand a bit. He made many points that NEVER get made on MSM. We 'get it' that Alex wanted a piece of Piers Morgan's hide. Yep, getting Viera on CNN isn't going to happen. Most CNN audiences don't know history very well. The US was born in Revolution and the Right To Revolt was preserved for the people. Here's a fun exercise I did some time ago. Take a look at the Bill of Rights in order and then think about how a rebellion is planned. The First Amendment guarantees you the right to sit with people and discuss it. But what if you get caught? The Fifth Amendment allows you to remain silent and ensures you can't be tried twice for it. Its a very strange document laid out in a peculiar order. CNN or shows like it would never ask someone like Edwin J. Vieira to appear.
The Second Amendment guarantees you the right to get the tools to pull it off with.
The Third Amendment keeps the Government from posting a snitch in your house.
The Fourth Amendment ensures that the Government can't raid your storehouse out of the blue.
The Sixth Amendment guarantees you a speedy trial so you don't languish in prison forever - guarantees you a lawyer and to a jury so they can acquit you.
The Seventh Amendment allows juries to set rules and guarantees common law courts and that the jury gets to try the facts
The Eighth Amendment guarantees you won't be boiled in oil or tortured as an "example to others".
The Ninth Amendment guarantees your right to go forth and do it again if you fail.
