Title: Alex Jones interview with Piers Morgan on CNN. He did not do himself or the movement any favors. It was embarrassing to watch.

Alex should have brought this up, but he was too angry I suppose to think clearly. Looking at people killed with guns in each country is not the right way to compare homicide in America and homicide in Great Britain. The correct way to compare it is to look at all homicides regardless of the way the person was killed. The total for 2010 in the USA is 14,748. The total for Great Britain in 2010 is 636. But since America has approx 6 times the population of Great Britain to properly compare the two nations regarding homicide rates you must either multiply the Great Britain stats by 6 or divide the USA stats by 6. If you multiply the Great Britain stats for homicide in 2010 by 6 it is 3,816. That is a lot less than America, but Great Britain also has a much lower amount of illegal immigrants than the USA and that inflates the USA numbers by quite a bit. Many Mexican criminals wanted for murder in Mexico come to the USA to avoid being captured. They continue their life of crime here and inflate our homicide numbers. God is always good!

Precisely. The proper way to win this debate is to just say, "We have a Constitution. It is the highest law of the land." That throws the ball back and makes it very hot for them to touch. ANY response along the "Well nothing is absolute" or "They didn't mean an M16!" is met with, "Well, the First Amendment didn't forsee obnoxious Cable Talk-Jocks either. When are you terminating your show?" The point is, you're not going to win on their turf and on their terms. You have to play the Schoolteacher Game with them and leave them with a binary choice -- the choice you want and something nobody wants. A people unwilling to use force, once diplomatic efforts have been exhausted, in order to preserve or obtain their liberty deserves the tyrants that rule over them.
That's about the size of it. I couldn't bring myself to watch the posted videos because I don't want to pop a gasket before I've even had my coffee this morning. I know I'd get just as mad as AJ listening to Morgan ooze out the predictable blend of cant and recrimination we've become familiar with that's always directed toward 2nd Amendment folks. But "temper, temper" Alex Jones. It's the motormouth Welshman in him. The man cannot introduce a guest without launching into a number of war stories and rendom digressions. He simply cannot shut up strategically and listen strategically which is part of effective debate. It's too bad. I agree with you, JT. I think the anti-gun folks won re: this particular interview because Jones was too intense, too fearful, too emotional - symbolizing the type of irrational gun owner MSM wants to show as justifying gun control, ie. not wanting the Jones kind of person getting his hands on lethal weapons. I don't think Jones lost any true believers - and he planted seeds regarding pharmaceuticals, low murder rates re: semi-automatics, genocide where guns are banned and the tyrant always bans the gun. Somebody has to get angry - the 2nd Amendment sits precariously on the edge of death. Someone has to "SCREAM" the communists are coming, the fascist are coming, and wake America out of its CNN coma. That being said, you are right that Jones tries to place to much info into the conversation all at once, which may be too much for the comatose. However, these folks aren't going to resist anything govt mandates. (Are they ?)
This could be precisely the reason Piers had him on the show. He knew how he would act. I agree in part and have stated many times that Jones is often obnoxious. To his credit though, the TV hosts take advantage of a restrained or timid guest, and he know it. (There are a kazillion examples of so-called conservative hosts like Bill Is'Raeli, Scam Hannity, Michael Scurvy, Glenn Buck, and the Russian Jew, Michael Mevedev, walking all over someone they've invited to debate. I'm sure Jones saw this as a live opportunity and may have over-played his hand a bit. He made many points that NEVER get made on MSM.

This is likely true. Jones almost always tries to jam too much info into a short space of time and it does make him look aggressive.
Did you "feel sorry" for him as well when he ambushed Larry Pratt of GOA? I guess Alex should have just acted meek and let Morgan walk over him. During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.
Dershowitz feels uncomfortable, are we supposed to care? Yep, getting Viera on CNN isn't going to happen. Most CNN audiences don't know history very well. The US was born in Revolution and the Right To Revolt was preserved for the people. Here's a fun exercise I did some time ago. Take a look at the Bill of Rights in order and then think about how a rebellion is planned. The First Amendment guarantees you the right to sit with people and discuss it. But what if you get caught? The Fifth Amendment allows you to remain silent and ensures you can't be tried twice for it. Its a very strange document laid out in a peculiar order. A people unwilling to use force, once diplomatic efforts have been exhausted, in order to preserve or obtain their liberty deserves the tyrants that rule over them.

I have known Larry as long as I have known Jones. It was Morgan that did himself no favors by trying to belittle him. He made himself look bad. Jones had a pefect opportunity to slam dunk him. There is a way to debate. You do it like any politician. You acknowledge their point and continue with what you want to make a point about. He was "acting" for his audience. Not trying to convince Piers audience was a mistake. People are conditioned to vote for the best actor or performer. Sad to say but it is what it is. It's called situation awareness. He came off like a complete ass***e. Years ago Mark Koernke and myself did a couple interviews/ He did Sam Donaldson of ABC evening news and I did McNeil/Leher Report on PBS. I told Mark to dress up and kill Donaldson with kindness and smiles. He did and it and destroyed Donaldson. This was on the issue of Militia of which was a powder keg. We did this to perfection. Marks interview was live and mine was taped and they still could'nt make me look bad. The AJ/PM circus was an abject disaster.
AJ does his homework, and I'm always impressed with his recall on a pretty wide range of issues. He's got very little self control however, and his lack of self- possession often reveals itself at critical moments and in critical encounters. I don't harbor some of the darker suspicions of this man that some hold, but at this juncture I'm patronizing cooler heads as far as sources of information go. A little less bullhorn and a little less bull is in order. 1st off, you should admit that you don't like Jones. Jones competes with your network so knowing him and Larry Pratt the same length of time really has no bearing on anything. Piers Morgan ate Pratt's lunch, and if anything Jones ate his own lunch, but he didn't let Piers Morgan run all over him like he did Pratt. 2ndly, you say Jones was "acting" for his audience and maybe he was. However, you mention dressing Koernke up and coaching him to respond with nice talk and smiles. Isn't that "acting" ? Look John, you and Jones have different styles for sure. I actually prefer your style to his, but I'd be a liar if I didn't admit that I sometimes might haul off and punch somebody's lights out when I'm fucking sick of yacking about something. Whether one or the other of you two guys (Jones or You) is more productive remains to be seen. I don't hold out much hope for you two to ever see eye to eye (though I wish that were different). But I do know this much about the two of you. Neither of you are gonna give up your guns because Obama or the entire gang of thugs in D.C. order it. Piers Morgan's show on CNN doesn't have a very large audience. His audience last evening may have been more Alex Jones listeners/viewers than those of Piers Morgan. Whatever the viewership was composed of, gun owners left or right are fairly certain of their right to keep and bear arms and their determination to turn them in or not will not have been affected by Jones' big mouth. Maybe Jones witnessed the treatment given to Pratt and decided to do the same to Morgan. I know that Morgan abused Pratt without concern for the audience or truth. Jones may have abused the audience but he did it with the truth. I have had times in my life where I was so pissed off that I welcomed the ass- whippin if the other guy could deliver it, haven't you ? I highly dislike jones. The y2k broadcast alone should of had him removed from he air. The trinidad incident demostraited his complete untrustworthyness. The parking lot incident shown him to be a petty liar and a weak fighter. LOL The Austin gun show protest was distressing and eye opening for many. The charlie sheen thing... that got ratings through antics. But did little to oppose the tyranny... in fact I think it made the tyranny lol... which I loath because the system as it stands is foul and corrupted. It uses controled media. Propaganda. Tools like alex jones and Rand paul to identify dissidents and contain them through their medias of their choice. So I am not very surprised at all by this latest ill performance on Ajs part. He serves the tyranny well to have him puppeted around as a kind of leader.. He has even made front page yahoo. But is he really doing all that he can in opposition of the tyranny? Or has he done more to help it... That's an opinion call I guess... for now... I'm still a very big Jack Blood fan. opportunity to demonstate to people the soundness of your arguments is what you

truth." They couldn't hear the truth because it was lost in the the theater and
drama. Otherwise why do it. Yes you are correct, I don't like the man. It was
the movement that he hurt.I was was one of the people that signed his
petition.Why,because I hate him? BTW, He lied again. He is not on 140 radio
stations, he is on thirty eight stations. Otherwise that petition would have at
