Having witnessed a semi-successful revolution in Egypt, there are 5 things that must happen here for any real change to happen.

1. We need to define a singular, simple, and common cause. In Egypt, it was getting rid of a corrupt Mubarak regime. What is that common cause here?

2. We need to reach critical mass. The message must be broad enough to appeal to a larger section of society. This can't just be a hippy thing.

3. We need to risk life, limb, and freedom for the cause. Self explanatory. We must believe wholeheartedly in the cause. The police must eventually switch sides and join the people.

4. We need the military to support the cause. Soldiers are simultaneously our greatest heroes and the greatest victims of the last decade's flawed policies. They need to get behind the protests.

5. We need to figure out concrete positive steps for how to implement that change on the day after. (This was not done in Egypt, and is the final, necessary step of successful Revolution)

1. The 2nd Amendment should do. [Washington D.C. is more tyrannical than crazy King George ever was.]

2. We're moving rapidly in that direction. (Number 1 above will increase our numbers exponentially).

3. If we had as much faith in ourselves as we do in FRNs we'd have the faith and willingness to re-do what our forebearers did. (See the movie "The Patriot" it's a good refresher course).

4. This is happening and will become obvious when the shit hits the fan and uniforms hit the dumpster.

5. Public hangings of those tyrants in D.C., especially anti-2nd amendment proponents should set the bar for holding public office under oath. Each State to hold elections utilizing a new standard.

A Citizen imposed state of martial law put into effect by county sheriffs for 30 days or until an election of State officials can be had. Others, military and police that supported the citizens would be available to assist the Sheriffs.

Though cumbersome, each man and woman would vote by writing down their choice for each State office without choosing from a list of candidates. They would simply vote for their choice according to office.

Once State officials are sworn in a national convention held for purposes of re- establishing Constitutional limited government. Two State representatives from each State sent in attendance to draft a new Constitution based upon but removing flaws in the original. The principles documented in the new Constitution set in stone and in simple english without need for "interpretation" establishing a permanent republican form of government, voting by paper ballots only, and correction to an honest money system.

Common law courts established in each county nationwide to adjudicate all matters of controversy until such time as other courts can be established "if" that is the consensus after consideration at the national convention.

We should all be livid. Stop acting like docile, mentally castrated pussies and grow a pair. It's time to get in their face. Why should we speak in hushed tones and act all polite when we are being metaphorically raped every day?

The common cause is adherence to constitutionanal law.

Something that is not done today. At all. In spades. It should be but it is not.

Why not? Are we adults capable of insisting upon adhrence to constitutional law by force if nessesary?

If anyone breaks constitutional law call them on it. detain them. Punish them in accordence with local congress... call out your city councils. call out their loyal law dogs. call out unconstitutional military actions, call out the soldiers that support unconstitutional war.... if you are a soldiers STOP FUCKING FIGHTING MUSLIMS IN ISLAM LAND AND GET YOUR ASS HOME.

But the common cause is very simple...

Can you name in how many ways how many different goverenment officals are in vioaltion of constitutional law? Well .. maybe it is toime to grow up and call them on it and detain them when proper... even if it means standing up to the law..

This is something we should all be working on, fine tuneing, practising in the real world and reporting our results and successes here and elsewhere to show others that we can overcome.

and this is why the army of one campaign was removed... to be all that you can be some of us are forced to be armys of one. Effective motivation that proves self destructive is removed.

Even when working alone much can still be accomplished if one only trys....

Like for example if someone else contributed their thoughts to the idea list here.

Already happening in Canada. Commonsense police ignored a judge's order to avoid provoking violence when aboriginals demonstrated against PM Harper's legislative power grab of native affairs, particularly resources which in the rest of Canada have been turned over to provinces to build bureaucracies.

TORONTO — Saying “I do not get it,” an Ontario Superior Court judge Monday bemoaned the passivity of Ontario police forces on illegal native barricades and issued a lament for the state of law-and-order in the nation.

“…no person in Canada stands above or outside of the law,” Judge David Brown said in a decision that was alternately bewildered and plaintive.

“Although that principle of the rule of law is simple, at the same time it is fragile. Without Canadians sharing a public expectation of obeying the law, the rule of law will shatter.”

Judge Brown was formally giving his reasons for having granted CN Rail an emergency injunction last Saturday night, when the railway rushed to court when Idle No More protesters blocked the Wymans Road crossing on the main line between Toronto and Montreal. Related

That protest ended about midnight the same night, but as Judge Brown noted dryly, “not, as it turns out, because the police had assisted in enforcing the order” he granted.

When the judge read in the media Sunday morning that the blockade had ended, he asked CN to submit an affidavit how it had happened.

As the same judge who last month watched — “shocked,” he said later, at “such disrespect” — as Sarnia Police ignored his court orders to end another Idle No More blockade on a CN spur line, he was right to be skeptical.

And sure enough, what Judge Brown learned was that once the local sheriff got a copy of his order, by about 10:30 p.m. Saturday, she contacted the Ontario Provincial Police on scene.

But, the judge said, he’d made “a time-sensitive order” precisely because the evidence showed that the railway suffered “from each hour the blockade remained in place, yet the OPP would not assist the local sheriff to ensure the order was served…

“Such an approach by the OPP was most disappointing,” Judge Brown said, “because it undercut the practical effect of the injunction order.

“That kind of passivity by the police leads me to doubt that a future exists in this province for the use of court injunctions in cases of public demonstrations.”

Judge Brown said that while he appreciates that Ontario Court of Appeal has said the rule of law can be applied in a “highly textured” or “nuanced” way when protesters are aboriginals involved in a land claim dispute, that doesn’t apply “to 15 people standing on the CN Main Line saying they were showing support for First Nations Chiefs in a forthcoming meeting with the Prime Minister.

“Such conduct had nothing to do with the process involved in sorting out land or usage claims…” the judge said.

The judge expressed “astonishment” that Sarnia Police failed to enforce court orders for almost two weeks, and then that protesters again blocked the Main Line for five hours, just a week after another demonstration in the same area.

He already had concerns, he said, stemming out of what occurred in Sarnia, about the willingness of police forces to enforce injunctions involving native protesters, but issued the order Saturday night because CN lawyers showed how serious were the effects of the blockade of the main line.

Furthermore, Judge Brown said, police already have sufficient tools under the Criminal Code to remove illegal protests. “In light of those powers of arrest enjoyed by police officers,” he wondered, “why does the operator of a critical railway have to run off to court to secure an injunction when a small group of protesters park themselves on the rail line bringing operations to a grinding halt?

“I do not get it,” he said.

As a member of one part of the law-and-order equation, Judge Brown said, “I remain puzzled why another part – our police agencies and their civilian overseers – does not make use of the tools given to it by our laws to ‘ensure the safety and security of all persons and property in Ontario’,” which he said is the first principle governing police services.

He warned “we seem to be drifting into dangerous waters in the life of the public affairs of this province when the courts cannot predict, with any practical degree of certainty, whether police agencies” will assist in enforcing court orders.
