LP is offline for very stupid reasons. They forgot to renew their domain registry.

Let the bidding begin!

It's up.

On a long enough timeline the survival rate for everyone drops to zero.

Apparently not. I just checked and it didn't come up for me.

When less is actually more.

We should all be livid. Stop acting like docile, mentally castrated pussies and grow a pair. It's time to get in their face. Why should we speak in hushed tones and act all polite when we are being metaphorically raped every day?

libertypost.net works.

Both .net & .org work for me.

Edit: Not that I'd actually go to that shithole.

.org takes me to a site that says, "Welcome! This domain was registered at namecheap.com. Please check back later!"

Weird. No matter what I do, which browser I try. It always resolves the .org to 199.59.166.108 which then gives the parked domain..

WEBSITE AVAILABILITY CHECK FOR LIBERTYPOST.ORG:

libertypost.org is down

Last updated @ 01/14/2013 16:49:14

Test finished in 9.486 seconds. RESULTS SUMMARY FOR LIBERTYPOST.ORG:

Unfortunately we did not receive a 200 OK HTTP status code as a response. This means that the website is currently unavailable and down for everybody (not just you) or you have entered an invalid domain name for this query. Possibly the libertypost.org web server is down, overloaded, unreachable (network problem), or a website or server maintenance is in progress right now. This could also indicate a DNS lookup problem as well (incorrect settings and configuration of the DNS servers) or other hosting related issues.

Weird. No matter what I do, which browser I try. It always resolves the .org to 199.59.166.108 which then gives the parked domain..

Once the fee is paid and the domain name service is restored, it takes time for that change to propagate over the net. While it's doing so, some people will get the LP server while others get the parked domain server.

I'm still getting the parked domain page right now.

It worked for me last evening when others were having problems. This morning I'm having problems and can't access it via that URL.

I forgot the password for the domain renewal site. Couldn't find it anywhere.

Finally got it done, thanks to sysop.

Sorry guys. (I go thru this every year.)
