Now is the time to check yours to see if you are still allowed to spend your money as you see fit.

Close your account and move all funds. Credit union is your best bet.

No restrictions on purchases with the credit union.

first of all, she got nothing from the flunky on the phone except IDKs. she needs to speak to the president or manager of the bank and verify if this is actual policy. imo, if it is, BOA is done.

I just called customer service. I asked if BOA has adopted such a policy. The rep. then proceeded to ask me "How do you feel about it."? I said "feel about what, I asked you the question and I want to know if it's true." Bottom line, she said "as long as the purchase is legal and regulated, there is no problem." I then asked how they would know if a purchase is legal and regulated, to which she had no answer. What I'm thinking is that yes, BOA is floating this idea, and I suppose the will deny ammo sales, guns and mags in places like New York. If this is the case, I'll dump them ASAP, this after 15 years.

People are already really pissed at BOA anyway..........they just sold all their mortgages after months of promising re modifications to customers and screwed them royally.

Screw all the tit sucking big banks in this nation. In 2008 when the bail out happened, people should have turned on them in droves. One of the big problems in this nation is the big banks with big influence and no concern for the customers. Why people stick with them is beyond me.

BOA has had a bad reputation for poor customer service for years, I'm surprised that people still bank with them. Credit unions seem to be the way to go. I've got an account with one in addition to my BBVA Compass account.

I've never had a problem. I pay my charges as they come in so their vig is of no consequence. But this move will (hopefully) hurt them.

I agree completely, the guy on the phone didn't know what the hell she was talking about. He sounded like he was from India so chances are he is clueless as to the politics of this country.

Having said that, BOA has had unofficial anti-gun policies for years. For example, back in April of last year they told gun manufacturer McMillan Group International that they no longer wanted to do business with them. The NRA even did an investigation on them in 2010.

No self-respecting firearms owner should have an account with BOA if they can possible help it. As a company, they hate us and everything we stand for.

The lady says "BOA is not govt" and nothing could be further from the truth. The Banks are govt. The bankers also know that those guns being purchased with THEIR MONEY (not yours) will be aimed at them sometime in the future. I have to hand it to the banks, at least they're smart enough not to fund their own destruction. I only wish that the average American was as smart.

Ya know, what most people accept as being the law is nonsense based upon the fairytales they learn in public schools.

The lady in the conversation is rightfully upset to find out that the bank can determine what she can spend "their" money on. Every cent is theirs, not yours or mine. Look at the shit, it says FEDERAL RESERVE NOTE plain as day.

I have been trying to get people everywhere to CLOSE OUT THEIR BANK ACCOUNTS for years. Shit-can the credit cards and live within your means. Stop giving more and more power to these murdering bastards at the banks. What are you waiting for ? Do you folks want a cashless society where your local banker may demand to fuck your wife or daughter (or sodomize your little boy) to release funds so you can eat ?

Many of these people are hardcore satanist / deviates that have evil on their mind that you nice people can't imagine.

None of this post is aimed at any individual - it's aimed at everyone that maintains a business relationship with these filthy sons of bitches.

We should all be livid. Stop acting like docile, mentally castrated pussies and grow a pair. It's time to get in their face. Why should we speak in hushed tones and act all polite when we are being metaphorically raped every day?

They're no different than a bank in most respects. We all need to remove ourselves feom the FEDERAL RESERVE BANK GOVT by establishing a private system of our own. It will not be easy because the current parasitic wealth destroying system has been around for a long time and people are used to it.

The current system is the very ROOT OF EVERY EVIL IN AMERICA and is like feeding sugar to cancer every time it is used.

Man, the FED is destroying everything good about America and we must make whatever sacrifices are necessary to dissolve it.

Which is why the Feds and some of the states have moved on coin and bullion dealers to make them unpaid Federal agents just like gun dealers. Any avenue of escape, any means of self preservation, MUST BE STOPPED.
