Yes, I was a bit confused about that too. Sounded like excellent advice to me.
Both of you obviously missed the glaring fact that he did not tell her to make sure the needle behind the steering wheel does not reach "E" and that car require regular fueling.

Yes, he definitely should have mentioned that. Dropped the ball on that one. You guys like to make jokes but we men are not that insensitive. Her hubby should have gassed her car up and road tested it, added dry gas in winter and during the rainy months, and in general made sure that the little woman didn't get stranded. After all, if some hunky guy picks her up and then fixes her car, they could become secret rendezvous friends (if you know what I mean) and none of us want that.
Rendezvous friends! Oh the humanity! Yeah, that would be harble and tarble. Grin
