Former pilot and 9/11 conspiracy theorist shoots and kills 2 teen children, then himself

Xeni Jardin at 6:41 pm Mon, Feb 4

Slaying victims Alex and Macaila Marshall with their father, Phillip Marshall.

Phillip (alternately, "Philip") Marshall, 54, a career airline pilot who claimed to have once served as a contract pilot for the CIA and DEA during the Iran-Contra affair, shot and killed his two teenage children, and the family dog, then killed himself.

The apparent murder-suicide was discovered at the family home in an upscale gated golfing community in Murphys, California.

According to local news reports, teen friends of Alex Marshall, 17 (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), and Macaila Marshall (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), 14, noticed the siblings had not been active via text or social media updates since Thursday and went by the house on Saturday to check on them.

The last posts made by either child to Instagram and Facebook were dated Thursday night.

The friends told police that when they arrived, they found Phillip Marshall, 54, "lying in a pool of blood inside the home," his 9mm Glock nearby.

Deputies believe the children were shot while sleeping on a couch.

The family dog was found shot to death in a nearby bedroom.

Marshall's estranged wife Sean, the children's mother, was out of the country at the time.

Phillip Marshall has been identified as a former pilot for Eastern and United airlines. He self-published a number of books, including at least two about his 9/11 conspiracy theories: "The Big Bamboozle" (February 9, 2012) and "False Flag 911: How Bush, Cheney and the Saudis Created the Post-911 World" (July 29, 2008).

A previous novel published in 2003, "Lakefront Airport, New Orleans," detailed his claimed experience as a pilot for the US during Iran/Contra.

In his books and his social media bios (including multiple Facebook accounts, his Twitter account and a Tumblr), he claims to have served as a contract pilot for the CIA's Special Activities Division during the Iran-Contra affair, flying shipments to and from Nicaragua.

He appeared on "outsider truth" shows like Coast to Coast to promote the theories in his books that 9/11 was an "inside job," the result of a plot between the US government and the Saudis.

From his author bio on Createspace.com, Amazon.com's self-publishing service:

Philip Marshall, a veteran airline captain and former government "special activities" contract pilot, has authored three books on Top Secret America, a group presently conducting business as the United States Intelligence Community.

Beginning with his role in the 1980s as a Learjet captain first as part of a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) sting on Pablo Escobar, and later in the covert arming of the Nicaraguan Contras, Marshall has studied and written 30-years worth of covert government special activities and the revolving door of Wall Street tricksters, media moguls, and their well funded politicians.

I am unable to confirm the veracity of the claims in his self-authored bio at this time.

A Facebook page for "The Big Bamboozle" showed posts as recent as January 31 with titles like, "WHAT IS THE INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY HIDING?," "THE ARAB WORLD KNOWS THE RAID WAS A HOAX," and posts about the Bin Laden assassination having been faked.

"PICTURES PAINT A THOUSAND WORDS," read one such Facebook post from Marshall about photographs of the assassinated Al Qaeda leader. "Since bin Laden died in 2001, these would be "alleged" photos of bin Laden. Give us a break."

He once also pitched those theories to a television news journalist with whom this blogger is acquainted.

A young friend of the two slain teens with whom this blogger is personally acquainted described them as "sweet, funny, lively, good kids."

A tweet from Macaila on January 25:

Would it be wrong if I threw my cat with his claws retracted at my dads face right now?... #pissoff— Macaila Marshall (@MacailaMarshall) January 25, 2013

Photos from the siblings' Instagram feeds suggest that they were outgoing, well-liked by friends, and loved one another very much. In one, Macaila is in the hospital after a "golf cart accident," with her father sitting in the background.

In the last self-portrait she posted on January 28, her brother blows a hair dryer at her while she goofs in the mirror.

"I pretty much just wanted to say how great of a big brother you are," Macaila writes to her brother in another Instagram caption, "I love you so much!"

A family photo Instagrammed by Alex shows the boy at a much younger age.

In it, he is helping his father mow the lawn with a toy lawnmower.

The training (which they failed miserably) was only a cover.

Wayne Madsen is now on AJ's program.

Epic fail.
Even Rummy said it was a missile; though more likely a drone of some sort.
Just more of the Dov-zio magic worked on that horrific day.

That "plane" flew for how long after they knew something was terribly wrong?

Not a single picture of that plane released to the public except for the gas station video that doesn't really show a plane? People had cameras on cell phones then. Not a single picture taken by cell phone?

The most secured airspace and the most secured building in the world, and not a single photo of the plane in flight.

Not sure if Phillip Marshall's entire theory should be thrown out just because he thinks a plane hit the pentagon. Maybe it did. There are good arguments for it after all (I.E. the picture of the "turbine" in the wreckage but the lack of photographs is just utterly unbelievable.

Was listening to the Alex Jones show with Madsen but it shut off. On a sidenote, it's weird how big alternative media sites like Alex Jones', Veterans Today and others are apparently dropping the ball deliberately on exposing Sandy Hook as a PsyOp charade by their seeming deflection from the evidence that Adam Lanza died before the supposed shooting.

Checking with Amazon, The Big Bamboozle, using Prime can be delivered here for $11.68.

As much stuff as I order through Amazon, the annual fee for Prime (which means free shipping) is a bargain.

The Big Bamboozle,

Apparently he was working on a new book.

Hopefully someone can find the manuscripts. That might be interesting.

His argument for bringing Kalid Sheik Mohammed (KSM) to trial is very convincing. I think he was shining light on things that were long overlooked or covered up and it just might have made a difference.

The excerpts on his blog are rational, fact packed and not widely discussed.

I don't think for one second this man killed his kids. This is a crime of the highest order. The more one looks into this the more questions arise.

There is no doubt that American Flight 77 hit the Pentagon, Marshall stated.

Epic fail.

That alone makes me think this guy is either a moron, or is a disinfo agent himself. If he is a disinfo agent, it is possible he and his kids weren't really killed and that he is living undercover somewhere else now.

If you actually read the excerpts from his blog here
http://thebigbamboozle.tumblr.com/
you can see he's not a moron. Far from it. He is very well educated. And, I'd assume that holding Captain ratings in 727,737,747,757 and 767 means he had quite a bit of psychological evaluation.

I'm pretty sure the funeral for his kids wasn't faked.

Hundreds turned out at The Bret Harte Union High School in Angels Camp, CA to remember Alex and Macaila Marshall, both former San Marcos High School students. Alex and Macaila were killed in the double murder, suicide involving former Hope Ranch pilot and author, Phillip Marshall. Alex and Macaila’s aunt delivered the eulogy while their mom, Sean Marshall, closed the ceremony with emotional remarks. “Being in Turkey and getting the news, it was almost unbearable,” she said. “When I heard of this devastation, there are no words ever to explain the emotions, the hurt, the regrets. I couldn’t hear God at that moment. I couldn’t hear his answers why, why would you do this? Why them? Why me?” Sean concluded, “Hug everyone, love everyone, be kind.”

If Phillip Marshall had documents that threatened the present government of the US--

does the NDAA actually authorize his assassination?

How did the US get to this point? Let's face it, most of the population deserves a police state and the loss of the Republic.

Not all of us, but certainly a majority. I can't begin to describe all the times I've begged and pleaded with my "friends" to pay attention and wake up- the last big example being the Health Insurance Ripoff and Enslavement Act-- but even when told that the Feds were going to Require these numbnuts to actually buy insurance and send in proof to the IRS with their 1040's they yawned and went back to sleep.

I can't wait to hear the protests next year, but I've become partially sadistic these days.

If he thinks a 757 hit the pentagon then he is a moron or disinfo agent, those are the only possibilities, because a 757 most certainly did not hit the pentagon. I am not saying he and his kids weren't killed, but that doesn't mean he couldn't have been putting out disinfo. It could have been to lend credence to his "opinions," to make people think he was on the right track. The elite will do anything to cover their crimes up, including killing their paid disinfo agents.

I think it was more likely the Mena related stuff that got him wacked. Although he MIGHT have been talking to the wrong, or maybe the right people concerning 9/11 or other matters, who knows. If anyone could do a deep investigation of what he was up to in the past year before his death, it might point towards the involved parties.

It might have nothing to do with anything we know about.

I'm just curious- have you read his blog? Any chapter? Anything more than what's here?

I just heard someone on a radio program bring this up and the host didn't let the caller speak more than 2 sentences about Saudi involvement before he was cut off completely and then the host went on for about 4 minutes saying talk of Saudi involvement was rubbish and the only thing anyone should concentrate on is the Dancing Israelis. And this host likes to think he's open minded...He couldn't evaluate other info- he didn't want to even hear anything that didn't fit what he already "knows" happened. It was pathetic.

Hmmm...This get's more interesting literally Every Single Day

Edit to add: Many reviews at Amazon are interesting

http://www.amazon.com/The-Big-Bamboozle-War-Terror/dp/1468094580

for example:

Absolutely A Must Read June 9, 2012
By Stephen Courts

Having read Susan Lindauer's Extreme Prejudice and Sibel Edmonds Classified Woman, I read this astounding, concise and succinct book not once but twice. I knew about the shenanigans of Cheney, Rumsfeld, Pearle, Libby and the rest of the nut bags and their ideological call for an invasion of Iraq in the late 1990's. If you read this short well documented book, you will come away appalled at the conspiracy of Junior, Cheney, Rice, Rumsfeld and company to recreate another "Pearl Harbor" to further their dream of a new police state. I will remind readers again about the interview in October 1967 in Playboy magazine in which District Attorney Jim Garrison said: "In my own experiences, Fascism is coming to America in the form of National Security". How prescient. Thirty four years later, that is what we have become.

Forget the main (lame) stream media, do your own homework. I think Mr. Marshall's call for a trial of KSM is absolutely critical and one has to wonder why the "Intelligence Community" and the extreme right wing fear this trial. We can't try in open court a defeated, tortured man whom the government claims masterminded this horrific crime? I did read Compromised by Terry Read, and Iran-Contra is important to this story. Bush 41 has been running a shadow government for over 30 years. Many of the same players and tactics were used to create 9/11.

Never mind the "Dancing Israelis", did you ever hear of the ones who were caught red-handed on the day of 9/11/2001 near the George Washington Bridge with a ton or so of explosives in a white van?

They were held for several months, then released to Israel, no charges filed.

Here's some juicy stuff. Should have searched Reddit long ago.

The "Phil had no ammo" quote has been identified and sourced. (420 lol)

octagon420 15 days ago

I am/was phil marshall's publicist. I helped him publish his books and was about to republish his expiriences regarding iran/contra.... I really am shocked about this whole thing... I last spoke with him 4 days ago and spent 7 days in the house the crime was comitted in about 2 weeks ago.. I am shocked, I don't believe it... Something is SERIOUSLY FISHY. Until someone can prove to me that this was suicide I refuse to believe that the man whom loved his children so dearly could have done this. He was a dear friend, his children were fantastic, I am at a loss for words....

octagon420 15 days ago

I just want to say, information is sparse right now... I promise I will update you guys as things become clearer, but I personally have a hard time believing this.... We had high level contacts in the government, he was reaching out to people overseas and this just DOES NOT MAKE SENSE.. FUUUCK i am devastated....

(octagon420 was asked for proof of his publicist claim--)
octagon420 15 days ago

I will post a random string on his twitter after this post @thebigbamboozle 868gdmzs ... It is sad :(

(---->-scroll up this thread to see this tweet in post #53- pretty convincing)

octagon420 15 days ago

He was convinced he had uncovered the TRUE people behind 9/11 . In his book he identified the training facilities and tactical plan used, I can only imagine at this point he may have gotten things right... We had been in contact with members of the 911 commission recently and foreign nationals.. Last time I spoke with him was 4 days ago and he was in good spirits looking forward to further book publishing and adventures... FFFFUUUUUUUU

MikelexLasciatemi cantare sono un italiano 5 points 14 days ago*

Deborah Jeane Palfrey the DC madam and 9/11 informant went on Alex Jones show saying she wasn't going to commit suicide, a year later she was found hanging in her garage.

octagon420 14 days ago

Yes, I was aware he owned the glock. Interestingly he claimed a few weeks ago, when I saw him last, that he didn't own ammunition for it. Don't know if that was a lie or what.. I never saw the gun, however, I had seen the manual in his car and hence the conversation came up. As far as I know he owned a single glock pistol.

octagon420 14 days ago

Logical conclusion. However, I was shocked to find out and saw the post on /r/conspiracy so I figured I would add some perspective. As per his wishes, I will be open-sourcing one of his books. This was an ongoing project and we were planning on publishing much of his work free to the world anyways, so there goes you financial motivator....

octagon420 14 days ago

Yes, the human mind is a complex thing, I am not going to pretend I could understand it. One way or another, this was unexpected...

octagon420 15 days ago

Yes, I suspect I will be haunted by this for the rest of my life... We will never truly know what happened... All I know is that in a TRILLION years, I would have never expected something like this from him... Just. Doesn't. Compute.

octagon420 15 days ago

All I can say is WTF!! I can't imagine this happened, he LIVED for his kids, he would have never harmed them...

One more thing- I can't remember where I saw/ heard the quote but it makes tons of sense:

Phillip Marshall lived for football, we are told. He would commit suicide and kill his kids a few days before the super bowl? Just another Hmmmm...

Meanwhile- What can a single person do? Whether you think Phillip Marshall was guilty or not, the killings deserve a full investigation. Please consider contacting the California Attorney General here http://oag.ca.gov/ and politely ask for a state investigation. It's the least we can do for Phillip and the truth.

I'm reading "The Big Bamboozle" as of today. My local librarian got me a copy.

I listened to 2 separate interviews that Mr. Marshall did on Coast 2 Coast ... he was pragmatic, intelligent, and on a mission.

They killed him. The Bush cabal have had the Saudis acting as contract agents since the OKC Bombing.

We should all be livid. Stop acting like docile, mentally castrated pussies and grow a pair. It's time to get in their face. Why should we speak in hushed tones and act all polite when we are being raped every day?

Thanks!

I've got to stop and do some F'n work!- this is a fascinating case and the net makes it so easy to chase leads. What did we ever do before?? Every time I read something or do a new search new things turn up. Wow. This is a conspiracy theorists conspiracy theory! And just looking at those kids faces...well...what-for once I'm speechless- If Phillip Marshall killed those kids I want to know. But if we have hit squads running around killing families that's a whole 'nother thing. Argentina here we come!

Anyway...heh...I just found this- nothing big but more ...uh...ammo? (sorry)

Personally, I don't believe that the Saudis are smart enough to do anything other than write huge checks and offer up their moronic young men as stooges for our FF-ops.

If you haven't read it already, check out House of Bush, House of Saud for more revelations that go back decades and decades.

I'd like to hear the interview that Madsen did with Jones or anyone else on this topic. Have I ever mentioned that I hate the fucking feds.

I'm reading the Big Bamboozle because I think the planes were flown by remote control - and the A-RABS were thinking they were passengers when they were only patsies. (I don't have to agree with Mr. Marshall to appreciate his work. And, he may be correct).

I didn't think a plane actually crashed at Shanksville, however Marshall stated that he lost a pilot friend in that crash on 9-11. Who knows ...

When I was in the AIR FARCE we were training the Saudis to fly T-38s.

My short take -

Zero arabs were on any flights.

93 was shot down in flight (the wreckage path was 8 miles for ....sake!)

Zero airliner hit the pentagon - that's just insane.

The WTC complex was brought down by controlled demolition and whatever aircraft flew into I and II were remote controlled craft via the Pentagon plunderer (2.3T) gone missing, Dov Zakheim mastermind/executioner deluxe.

That puts a differnt spin on it for me... As a "no planer" , God knows if all is thus offical public truth as stated... well .. MY speculation would be that after SandyHoax...perhaps Marshall might of been getting ready to talk about the media manipulation matrix...

That would be a big deal.. big enough to merit this roman style villiany..

Our thoughts are alike. I, like you, don't think the planes could disintegrate the towers - even if some arabs could manage to pilot them accurately.

Marshall thinks that these Saudis entered the U.S. in January, 2000 and were immediately assisted by Saudi expatriates and others such as the Saudi Ambassador to Washington, FBI high level informants, as well as rogue elements within Bush' Administration. He doesn't hesitate to point the finger at Darth Cheney as a critical player.

I heard Marshall say in an interview on Coast 2 Coast that he thinks Saudi Trainers had plenty of time to have trained the arabs to do the job they (allegedly) carried out on 9-11.

If you have a media downloader type extension you can download it too.
I'm using "downloadhelper" firefox extension. Stable and works very well.

The whole video is fascinating but skip to 11:50 through 18:05 first for relevance then start over from the beginning. Is it an April Fools joke? Something for a movie? A practice session? I've never seen anything like that 6 minutes before...Even back in the days when satellite dishes were new and lots of things went up to the sky that shouldn't have.

Or maybe I'm just looking at it wrong.

Edit: looking at the 6 minute "Saudi Arabia" segment again, sometimes there is very clearly no satellite delay when the anchor is speaking with the bloke "in the field". Surely if they were going to fake this they would insert a ~1 or 2 second delay?

Very well possible since the remote tech to control Boeing aircraft has been around since 1984

On the morning of December 1, 1984, the test aircraft took off from Edwards Air Force Base, California, made a left-hand departure and climbed to an altitude of 2,300 feet (700 m). The aircraft was remotely flown by NASA research pilot Fitzhugh Fulton from the NASA Dryden Remotely Controlled Vehicle Facility. All fuel tanks were filled with a total of 76,000 pounds (34,000 kg) of AMK and all engines ran from start-up to impact (the flight time was 9 minutes) on the modified Jet-A. It then began a descent-to-landing along the roughly 3.8-degree glideslope to a specially prepared runway on the east side of Rogers Dry Lake, with the landing gear remaining retracted.

Passing the decision height of 150 feet (46 m) above ground level (AGL), the aircraft turned slightly to the right of the desired path. The aircraft entered into a situation known as a Dutch Roll. Slightly above that decision point at which the pilot was to execute a "go-around", there appeared to be enough altitude to maneuver back to the center-line of the runway. The aircraft was below the glideslope and below the desired airspeed. Data acquisition systems had been activated, and the aircraft was committed to impact. It contacted the ground, left wing low, at full throttle, with the aircraft nose pointing to the left of the center-line.

Not necessarily. It could have been explosives in the building timed to detonate with the close overshoot of the plane which made many with not a good view of the "impact" site think that the plane hit the building.

God is always good!

Thanks for that link ... interesting interview. Something that seems to go unnoticed is just how large the CIA actually is. I don't think it can be destroyed because it's a secret society with murder as its mission and international bankers for bosses.

It was a hit all right.

A direct hit on the auditors who were trying to determine where 2.3T went missing.

Rummy said that a missile struck the pentagon: it would have to have had bunker-buster capability to penetrate as it did, or maybe the recent remodeling/reinforcing was when the demo-charges were set.

Whatever it was, it was no commercial airplane.
