Former pilot and 9/11 conspiracy theorist shoots and kills 2 teen children, then himself

Xeni Jardin at 6:41 pm Mon, Feb 4

Slaying victims Alex and Macaila Marshall with their father, Phillip Marshall.

Phillip (alternately, "Philip") Marshall, 54, a career airline pilot who claimed to have once served as a contract pilot for the CIA and DEA during the Iran-Contra affair, shot and killed his two teenage children, and the family dog, then killed himself.

The apparent murder-suicide was discovered at the family home in an upscale gated golfing community in Murphys, California.

According to local news reports, teen friends of Alex Marshall, 17 (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), and Macaila Marshall (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), 14, noticed the siblings had not been active via text or social media updates since Thursday and went by the house on Saturday to check on them.

The last posts made by either child to Instagram and Facebook were dated Thursday night.

The friends told police that when they arrived, they found Phillip Marshall, 54, "lying in a pool of blood inside the home," his 9mm Glock nearby.

Deputies believe the children were shot while sleeping on a couch.

The family dog was found shot to death in a nearby bedroom.

Marshall's estranged wife Sean, the children's mother, was out of the country at the time.

Phillip Marshall has been identified as a former pilot for Eastern and United airlines. He self-published a number of books, including at least two about his 9/11 conspiracy theories: "The Big Bamboozle" (February 9, 2012) and "False Flag 911: How Bush, Cheney and the Saudis Created the Post-911 World" (July 29, 2008).

A previous novel published in 2003, "Lakefront Airport, New Orleans," detailed his claimed experience as a pilot for the US during Iran/Contra.

In his books and his social media bios (including multiple Facebook accounts, his Twitter account and a Tumblr), he claims to have served as a contract pilot for the CIA's Special Activities Division during the Iran-Contra affair, flying shipments to and from Nicaragua.

He appeared on "outsider truth" shows like Coast to Coast to promote the theories in his books that 9/11 was an "inside job," the result of a plot between the US government and the Saudis.

From his author bio on Createspace.com, Amazon.com's self-publishing service:

Philip Marshall, a veteran airline captain and former government "special activities" contract pilot, has authored three books on Top Secret America, a group presently conducting business as the United States Intelligence Community.

Beginning with his role in the 1980s as a Learjet captain first as part of a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) sting on Pablo Escobar, and later in the covert arming of the Nicaraguan Contras, Marshall has studied and written 30-years worth of covert government special activities and the revolving door of Wall Street tricksters, media moguls, and their well funded politicians.

I am unable to confirm the veracity of the claims in his self-authored bio at this time.

A Facebook page for "The Big Bamboozle" showed posts as recent as January 31 with titles like, "WHAT IS THE INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY HIDING?," "THE ARAB WORLD KNOWS THE RAID WAS A HOAX," and posts about the Bin Laden assassination having been faked.

"PICTURES PAINT A THOUSAND WORDS," read one such Facebook post from Marshall about photographs of the assassinated Al Qaeda leader. "Since bin Laden died in 2001, these would be "alleged" photos of bin Laden. Give us a break."

He once also pitched those theories to a television news journalist with whom this blogger is acquainted.

A young friend of the two slain teens with whom this blogger is personally acquainted described them as "sweet, funny, lively, good kids."

A tweet from Macaila on January 25:

Would it be wrong if I threw my cat with his claws retracted at my dads face right now?... #pissoff— Macaila Marshall (@MacailaMarshall) January 25, 2013

Photos from the siblings' Instagram feeds suggest that they were outgoing, well-liked by friends, and loved one another very much. In one, Macaila is in the hospital after a "golf cart accident," with her father sitting in the background.

In the last self-portrait she posted on January 28, her brother blows a hair dryer at her while she goofs in the mirror.

"I pretty much just wanted to say how great of a big brother you are," Macaila writes to her brother in another Instagram caption, "I love you so much!"

A family photo Instagrammed by Alex shows the boy at a much younger age.

In it, he is helping his father mow the lawn with a toy lawnmower.

I'd like to hear the interview that Madsen did with Jones or anyone else on this topic. Have I ever mentioned that I hate the fucking feds.

I'm reading the Big Bamboozle because I think the planes were flown by remote control - and the A-RABS were thinking they were passengers when they were only patsies. (I don't have to agree with Mr. Marshall to appreciate his work. And, he may be correct).

I didn't think a plane actually crashed at Shanksville, however Marshall stated that he lost a pilot friend in that crash on 9-11. Who knows ...

When I was in the AIR FARCE we were training the Saudis to fly T-38s.

We should all be livid. Stop acting like docile, mentally castrated pussies and grow a pair. It's time to get in their face. Why should we speak in hushed tones and act all polite when we are being raped every day?

My short take -

Zero arabs were on any flights.

93 was shot down in flight (the wreckage path was 8 miles for ....sake!)

Zero airliner hit the pentagon - that's just insane.

The WTC complex was brought down by controlled demolition and whatever aircraft flew into I and II were remote controlled craft via the Pentagon plunderer (2.3T) gone missing, Dov Zakheim mastermind/executioner deluxe.

That puts a differnt spin on it for me... As a "no planer" , God knows if all is thus offical public truth as stated... well .. MY speculation would be that after SandyHoax...perhaps Marshall might of been getting ready to talk about the media manipulation matrix...

That would be a big deal.. big enough to merit this roman style villiany..

Our thoughts are alike. I, like you, don't think the planes could disintegrate the towers - even if some arabs could manage to pilot them accurately.

Marshall thinks that these Saudis entered the U.S. in January, 2000 and were immediately assisted by Saudi expatriates and others such as the Saudi Ambassador to Washington, FBI high level informants, as well as rogue elements within Bush' Administration. He doesn't hesitate to point the finger at Darth Cheney as a critical player.

I heard Marshall say in an interview on Coast 2 Coast that he thinks Saudi Trainers had plenty of time to have trained the arabs to do the job they (allegedly) carried out on 9-11.

The whole video is fascinating but skip to 11:50 through 18:05 first for relevance then start over from the beginning. Is it an April Fools joke? Something for a movie? A practice session? I've never seen anything like that 6 minutes before...Even back in the days when satellite dishes were new and lots of things went up to the sky that shouldn't have.

Or maybe I'm just looking at it wrong.

Edit: looking at the 6 minute "Saudi Arabia" segment again, sometimes there is very clearly no satellite delay when the anchor is speaking with the bloke "in the field". Surely if they were going to fake this they would insert a ~1 or 2 second delay?

Very well possible since the remote tech to control Boeing aircraft has been around since 1984

On the morning of December 1, 1984, the test aircraft took off from Edwards Air Force Base, California, made a left-hand departure and climbed to an altitude of 2,300 feet (700 m). The aircraft was remotely flown by NASA research pilot Fitzhugh Fulton from the NASA Dryden Remotely Controlled Vehicle Facility. All fuel tanks were filled with a total of 76,000 pounds (34,000 kg) of AMK and all engines ran from start-up to impact (the flight time was 9 minutes) on the modified Jet-A. It then began a descent-to-landing along the roughly 3.8-degree glideslope to a specially prepared runway on the east side of Rogers Dry Lake, with the landing gear remaining retracted.

Passing the decision height of 150 feet (46 m) above ground level (AGL), the aircraft turned slightly to the right of the desired path. The aircraft entered into a situation known as a Dutch Roll. Slightly above that decision point at which the pilot was to execute a "go-around", there appeared to be enough altitude to maneuver back to the center-line of the runway. The aircraft was below the glideslope and below the desired airspeed. Data acquisition systems had been activated, and the aircraft was committed to impact. It contacted the ground, left wing low, at full throttle, with the aircraft nose pointing to the left of the center-line.

Not necessarily. It could have been explosives in the building timed to detonate with the close overshoot of the plane which made many with not a good view of the "impact" site think that the plane hit the building.

God is always good!

Thanks for that link ... interesting interview. Something that seems to go unnoticed is just how large the CIA actually is. I don't think it can be destroyed because it's a secret society with murder as its mission and international bankers for bosses.

It was a hit all right.

A direct hit on the auditors who were trying to determine where 2.3T went missing.

Rummy said that a missile struck the pentagon: it would have to have had bunker-buster capability to penetrate as it did, or maybe the recent remodeling/reinforcing was when the demo-charges were set.

Whatever it was, it was no commercial airplane.

Not sure if Phillip Marshall's entire theory should be thrown out just because he thinks a plane hit the pentagon. Maybe it did.

Phillip Marshall must have been a smart man to be a pilot. They don't let dummies in there, but geniuses don't usually gravitate to flying planes either. Not usually. I wonder if Howard Hughes would have thought a plane hit the pentagon. I don't. I think the chance of them showing a video of a plane hitting it if it actually did is approaching 100%.

February 15-17, 2013 -- Sacramento, CA -- Philip Marshall: A black ops hit made to appear as a suicide Philip Marshall, the retired United Airlines pilot, 9/11 analysis author, and one-time Iran-contra era associate of CIA/DEA informant Barry Seal

Pic at Post #150 by Aquila: Phil and Barry Seal's Cocaine Lear Jet

Wayne Madsen: 9/11 author Philip Marshall “suicided” by black ops team_on the Kevin Barrett Show - audio and transcript; more on Barry Seal, etc.

BARRETT [at 9:14]: ...he was obviously mixed up with some pretty high level organized criminals in his days as an associate of Barry Seal [My note: aka Adler Berriman Seal aka Ellis Mackenzie]. Maybe the listeners may not remember that Barry Seal was gunned down in, I think it was Baton Rouge, or New Orleans, one of the two…

MADSEN: Baton Rogue, 19…February 19th in 1986.

BARRETT: Right. And Barry Seal had been a CIA drug pilot. This was part of the Cocaine-for-the-Contras thing that Olly North and probably George H.W. Bush, [were] smuggling cocaine with the CIA to support the Contra insurgency in Nicaragua. And then Barry Seal got gunned down in Baton Rogue after he had [just turned] state’s evidence against, guess who, his own lawyer, Richard Ben-Veniste, who later served on the 9/11 Commission. Very interesting tie-ins here.

[sic]

BARRETT [at 47:21]: ...Now I wonder if, at some point, there shouldn’t be a reform in the justice system when a dead person is blamed for a crime, they…a good lawyer should defend that person, and they should have to convict him in court. That would make it a lot harder for these organized crime elements to stage these murder-suicides.

MADSEN: Absolutely. Absolutely.

Now that Marshall's address has been published in the above LEO press releases here is google earth again showing his exact house from 2 elevations-(There is no street view behind "gated communities"- and the nearest street view isn't close)

One thing is as clear as a bell: You don't need to get past a "gate" at this "gated community" to get to his house...

Those houses aren't that far apart but they aren't exactly close together. Would you hear a gunshot (so far it's probably safe to assume the shots were fired late THU or sometime FRI) in the house next door? Across the street?

Edit: 4 gunshots from a 9mm glock. Can you put a silencer on a regular glock?
I've fired a friends 9mm and it seems that 4 shots without a silencer would have been fairly loud, especially at night

Rummy said that a missile struck the pentagon

fired from an aircraft, do you think?

I don't believe anything I've been told about 911. But just because Marshall does, I'm just saying his entire theory shouldn't be automatically discarded. He is after all a highly regarded captain of 5 classes of jets- and has an intimate knowledge of that entire industry and all that goes along- for example knowing about the following:

There are two different worlds in aviation — the general single-engine airplane world with a service ceiling of 10,000 feet and a top speed of around 200 miles per hour, and the commercial swept-wing jetliner world at 40,000 feet and Mach numbers for speed calculations. Little within that first world prepares the pilot for the second, high-altitude world.

So began my search for Middle Eastern operators of Boeing airliners. Because the hijackers were mostly Saudi Arabian, the firm of Dallah Avco, a Saudi operator of multiple private Boeing airliners, soon stood out as a focal point. To my amazement, I immediately discovered that Congressional investigators had already linked Dallah Avco with the actual hijackers. Omar Bayoumi, a Dallah employee and operative within the Saudi Ministry of Aviation, had provided housing and basic support for three hijackers: Nawaf al-Hazmi, Khalid al-Mihdhar and the pilot/hijacker of American 77, Hani Hanjour.

FBI evidence of the cell would confirm that the hijacking team of American 77 had formed and operated separately with direct financial support from top-level members of the Saudi government, bitter enemies of al Qaeda. The picture was beginning to clear.

There's so much dis information along with the hidden critical information it might be that the truth is a stew of it all. Or maybe none of it is real and we're all circling a distant planet on a broken spaceship and the ship's computer has decided to put us all into a virtual reality to live until old age mercifully kills us rather than kill us outright. Those houses are well insulated, but you'd have to be deaf or sound asleep to not hear it from a house or two away.

Recently we replaced out our 1970 single pane, aluminum windows with Simonton triple-pane jobbies, and we can still hear the dogs barking in the back yard.

We could certainly hear a few un-silenced 9mm rounds going off.

This was a professional hit...better done than the SandyHook debacle; but a professional hit nonetheless.

the SandyHook debacle

I wonder if any of those "parents" had life insurance for their children and if any money was claimed.

Shouldn't be too hard to find out.

I don't think Marshall was killed for knowing too much about 9/11.

What did he know that someone would want him killed?

I don't believe that it was what he knew (lots and lots of people know), it was what he was writing and telling that was his undoing.

What did he know that someone would want him killed?

I'm about half way through his last book "The Big Bamboozle" and thusfar his claims are that the field agents had it right and were reporting SAUDI State financed terrorist activity but were thwarted by upper level management of the FBI, Justice Dept, the CIA and the White House. He also claims that the 2 hour delay without a response from NORAD is evidence that they were ordered to stand down.

I could be wrong but it looks like Marshall believed that the terrorist attacks actually brought the buildings down. I don't agree with his theory concerning the collapses of the buildings but I think he has made a good case that the Bush Administration with the FBI and CIA assisted by ignoring the field agents and Cheney keeping the fighters on the ground or away from the targets. He also shows how they blocked the 9-11 Commission from the facts especially regarding the Saudi involvment.

Nor do I think he shot his children.

We should all be livid. Stop acting like docile, mentally castrated pussies and grow a pair. It's time to get in their face. Why should we speak in hushed tones and act all polite when we are being raped every day?

Now this is just brilliant!

Simply because you're dead, should not mean that you don't get your day in court.

This is the most amazing thought/idea that I've seen in a long while.

Gets my vote too !

Phillip Marshall must have been a smart man to be a pilot.

I know plenty of dumb people that are pilots. I'm not saying this guy was dumb, but he either believed false info, which isn't too smart, or was putting false info out on purpose. Even most pilots believe that a 757 did not hit the pentagon.

Yes you do need to be of a certain intelligence to fly a commercial airliner.

You do not know plenty of dumb people that are pilots just because you yourself are dumb.

You have no clue what the man believed. Only he knew what he believed. You have no idea if the info is false or not.

The 911 debate is ever on going and even though we can all agree it was an inside job and the fucking US/Isreali government are guilty that fails to alter the official narrative (god forbid he had a solid connection implicating the zionist government).

And lastly, you have no clue what most pilots believe. You have no way to gauge that. It is just something you have pulled out of thin air and applied to posterity here.

You should put ALOT more thought into your posting.

Why Does George W. Bush Fly in Drug Smuggler Barry Seal's Airplane? - FTW/From the Wilderness: As Published in the October 1999 Issue

Barry Seal - Wikipedia excerpts

Adler Berriman Seal (July 16, 1939 – February 19, 1986), better known as Barry Seal

Seal was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and began flying at the age of 15. In 1955, he received his pilot's license at the age of 16 and joined the Civil Air Patrol

In 1966, Seal went to work for TWA as a flight engineer and later became the youngest 747 pilot in the nation. He flew transcontinental flights for TWA until he was fired after he agreed to fly plastic explosives from Miami to Mexico for an anti-Castro group. The buyer turned out to be a Federal Agent and he was arrested. He lost his job with TWA and became a private aviation consultant for groups in Latin America, which led to a career in drug trafficking.[1]

Seal began his drug smuggling career in 1976 after he lost his job with TWA.

In 1980, Seal began working for the Ochoa family and the Medellín Cartel transporting more lucrative cocaine shipments.[2]

By 1981 he worked mainly for the Ochoa family and the Medellín Cartel transporting more lucrative cocaine shipments. This is according to the Frontline documentary on the "drug war". He then became one of the largest transportation rings for the cartel in the United States.[2]

After successful runs into his homebase in Louisiana he moved operations to an infamous airport facility in Mena, Arkansas. There he owned and operated many planes and helicopters and advanced radar equipment. This includes the C-123 transport plane which was used famously in the Nicaragua sting operation. [sic] The operation was very successful until Seal was indicted on conspiracy to smuggle Quaaludes into Florida in 1984.[4] While operating for the Medellín Cartel, Seal went by the alias, "Ellis Mackenzie."[5]

Barry Seal murder in Baton Rouge 25 years ago helped expose Iran-Contra debacle - louisianavoice.com excerpts

February 14, 2011 by tomaswell

Most of all, Seal’s murder would lay bare for all the world to see the seamy underbelly of America’s duplicitous war on drugs, and how drug smuggling was in fact sanctioned by powerful men in order to advance a hidden agenda. That agenda would turn up in the sordid details of the Iran-Contra scandal.

Seal, who began flying at age of 15, flew weapons to Fidel Castro in 1958 when Castro was fighting to overthrow Fulgencio Batista. It was only after Castro succeeded in overthrowing Batista in 1959 and declared himself a Marxist that other forces then began their efforts to overthrow Castro.

In 1964, Seal went to work for TWA and became their youngest 707 captain and later their youngest 747 captain. He was fired by TWA after his 1972 arrest in New Orleans on charges of flying explosives to anti-Castro Cubans in Mexico. The buyer, it turned out, was a federal agent. Soon after that, Seal turned to drug smuggling and subsequently was arrested in Honduras with 40 kilos of cocaine worth a reported $25 million.

By 1982, Seal was making regular runs on behalf of the Medellin Cartel, bringing tons of cocaine into the U.S. It was at this time that he moved his operations from Baton Rouge to Mena, Arkansas. Whether known or not at the time by Arkansas Governor Bill Clinton, the use of the Mena airport by Seal and others would be used by detractors in efforts to tie Clinton to drug smuggling conspiracies, especially during his first four years as President.

In 1984, Seal was indicted in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on charges of smuggling Quaaludes and money laundering.

Because Reagan feared another communist regime in the Western Hemisphere, Seal was enlisted as an undercover informant for the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

By this time, Seal had purchased a C-123. The larger transport plane, which he affectionately referred to as The Fat Lady, was needed to haul tons of cocaine for the cartel. As part of his agreement with DEA, he rigged the C-123 with a hidden camera and was able to photograph Pablo Escobar helping Nicaraguan soldiers load 1,200 kilos of cocaine at the Managua airport. Reagan was ecstatic and went on national television shortly afterwards, waving the photograph given to him by Col. Oliver North and denouncing the Sandinistas as “drug smugglers corrupting American youth.”

As a result of Seal’s cooperation, the judge in his Florida case praised Seal and reduced his sentence to six months probation.

on October 5, 1986 [My note: months after Barry Seal was reportedly killed], a Sandinista patrol shot down a C-123 cargo plane that was supplying the Contras. Eugene Hasenfus, who was on board the plane, survived the crash and told his captors that he thought the CIA was behind the operation to supply the Contras.

It proved to be the singular event that blew the Iran-Contra scandal wide open. The C-123 that had been shot down was The Fat Lady, Seal’s beloved cargo plane. Somehow, the plane had fallen into the hands of Oliver North and his covert operation.

Hasenfus said that was by sheer coincidence.

That’s not likely. Seal’s offshore bank accounts disappeared and the IRS filed a multi-million dollar lien against his assets. His property, including his home and all his airplanes, were seized. Seal’s wife was said to have found George Bush’s private phone number in Seal’s wallet. The C-123 was ultimately sold to a company with connections to the CIA and was shot down soon afterwards.

Excerpts from Why Does George W. Bush Fly in Drug Smuggler Barry Seal's Airplane - FTW/From the Wilderness: As Published in the October 1999 Issue

It has all the makings of a major box office thriller: Texas Governor and Republican Presidential contender George W. Bush and his brother Jeb, allegedly caught on videotape in 1985 picking up kilos of cocaine at a Florida airport in a DEA sting set up by Barry Seal

Three months into an exhaustive investigation of persistent reports dating to 1995 that there exists an incriminating videotape of current Republican Presidential front-runner Bush caught in a hastily-aborted DEA cocaine sting, the central allegation remains unproven

The investigation started with a lead into the history of the aircraft (a 1982 Beechcraft King Air 200 with FAA registration number N6308F - Serial Number BB-1014). The handwritten tail number was found in records kept by Seal's widow and later linked to other "hard paper" records left by Seal after his 1986 assassination by "drug traffickers" who were subsequently connected to Oliver North. Those records, including leasing agreements, insurance policies and maintenance records, exhibit a deliberately-confusing "paper trail" of convoluted ownership

Southern Air had owned the C123 used by Seal in the Nicaragua sting operation which made Barry Seal famous. That same aircraft was later shot down over Nicaragua in 1986 and the lone survivor Eugene Hasenfus was captured alive by Sandinista soldiers.. That is what started the Iran-Contra scandal to begin with.

getting ready to go to war in the Spring of 1982:

Retired Air Force Major General Richard Secord began managing an operation in which Israel shipped weapons captured in Lebanon to a CIA arms depot in San Antonio, Texas, for re-shipment to the Contras. [sic] at this exact same time, in the Spring of 1982, Barry Seal began flying private planes into a then-obscure airport in the secluded mountains of western Arkansas known as Mena.

More on Nicaragua, etc., at Kevin Barrett's noliesradio.org: Wayne Madsen: 9/11 author Philip Marshall “suicided” by black ops team -- audio and transcript

[Philip Marshall's] first book was called Lake Front, about Lake Front Airport in downtown New Orleans, where he and Barry Seal worked together in the early 80s. I would point out there’s also a photograph that has shown up showing Phil Marshall in 1984 at the Mena airfield in Arkansas. Now this is the famous, or infamous, airport that was the scene of a lot of cocaine smuggling from Latin America in return for US weapons being shipped to the Contras in Nicaragua and the various drug cartels.

Hank Asher

Although I can find no other direct link between Barry Seal and Hank Asher, they were cocaine drug smuggling contemporaries and Asher is linked to Florida where Barry Seal was indicted in 1984. Also, one of Asher's companies was involved there in suspected voter fraud.

Like Barry Seal's affiliate, Philip Marshall, Hank Asher was recently reported dead (but from no officially stated cause, afaik); and so was another man named Don Haidl. Asher and Haidl were both involved in the case of Mike Carona, a corrupt Sheriff in Florida who had served on a top-secret George W. Bush national security task force. Haidl was reportedly a used car salesman. This is a continuation of excerpts at the FTW article linked above regarding one of Seals' planes:

Suddenly, on June 14, 1984, after [sic] the consolidation of Contra operations under Oliver North the plane was sold twice in one day. According to journalist, producer and author Dan Hopsicker, "This was at a period in time when Barry knew he was on the way out." The plane went first to a mysterious Morgan B. Mitchell of Vale, Oregon, and then to Chevrolet Dealer Merrill Bean of Ogden Utah. Bean, curiously, gave the Dover, Delaware address of the "Prentis Hall [sic] Corporation" on his FAA registration.

In an interview Bean stated that he had incorporated in Delaware as a legal necessity because of the needs of his investors. "Delaware is a very convenient place for many kinds of corporations to incorporate and many large corporations and multi-nationals do so," Bean told FTW. "Because other companies I was in partnership with were incorporated there I chose to do so also. It was much easier that way and it was a requirement of the partners who were investing."

However, Delaware officials in the Secretary of State's office said that Bean's company, Prentis Hall [not Prentice Hall], does not exist. And in the FAA records connected to Bean's ownership of "Zero-Eight-Foxtrot" we find yet another unexplained gap in FAA records. Whenever major mechanical repairs are made on an aircraft, the involved mechanic is required to complete an FAA Form 337. In December 1989, FAA certified mechanic Irvin Strayer installed some routine de-icing equipment on the plane. The mechanic, reviewing what should have been original ownership documents, listed the owner as United Insurance of Ogden Utah. Nowhere in FAA title paperwork does United Insurance appear as an owner. And a spokesman for the Utah State Department of Insurance told FTW that there had never been a United Insurance licensed to do business in the state.

"It was an insurance company that a group of car dealers had formed to handle title and financing and other insurance for car sales," said Bean. "I bought the other guys out of the airplane and had some repairs done before I sold to Corporate Wings."

Someone should have told the FAA. Or perhaps someone changed the FAA's records. Stranger things have happened. Bean does not recall if he changed the records to reflect this or not.

A Likely Suspect

In what will become a long litany of links between Barry Seal's activities and the financial fraud of the 1980's, Merrill Bean was also involved in what The Salt Lake City Tribune called "the worst financial disaster in Utah since the Great Depression." That disaster was the en masse 1980s failure of Utah thrifts -- hybrid financial institutions that offered high interest rates and consumer loans -- and the collapse of the insurance fund that was supposed to protect their deposits.

Because Utah's thrifts were heavily underinsured, the actions of Bean's thrift, Western Heritage Thrift and Loan, left a trail of broken hearts, and broken people.

Bean told FTW, "I was Director of that failed thrift. I came aboard when it was almost going under. And I poured some money into it to try to save it and it didn't happen. I was hoping that my $75,000 that I put into it would help revive it." While admitting that he was on the Board of Directors of Western Heritage, Bean stated emphatically that he was not "a Honcho."

FTW wonders how an obviously savvy businessman who owns several aircraft and car dealerships believed that $75,000 would turn around a failing savings and loan. In "The Mafia, The CIA and George Bush," Texas journalist Pete Brewton documented how much of the S&L scandal was connected to Iran-Contra operations and illegal covert operations of the CIA.

Noting again because of Philip Marshall being painted as a "crazy conspiracy theorist" gunman: Ogden, Utah is also linked to the Robbie Parker family of the Sandy Hook gun-grabbing Hoax.

There's so much dis information along with the hidden critical information it might be that the truth is a stew of it all.

The kosher official narratives are managed by big media, which includes big alternative media names: Webster Tarpley and on and on. That's a big reason why alternative media is comparable to a carrot-on-a-stick where even if PsyOp/BlackOp hoaxes are exposed, that's usually as far as it goes (if not largely ignored). Psywar doesn't just hide actual crimes that did happen but also attempts to "validate" crimes or deaths, etc., that might not have really happened at all for purposes of tyrannical legislation or wars or whatever. So, at this point, I'm not convinced that Philip Marshall and his children are dead or Hank Asher either or even that Barry Seal was assassinated. They could have gone into a Witness Protection program for all I know.

Questions on the Marshall family murders:

Were his hands tested for gun-powder residue?

What caliber bullets were used?

Were the bullets fired from Marshall's pistol?

These are the most basic, fundamental forensic questions that should have been immediately investigated, and answered honestly.

Phillip Marshall's twitter avatar:

Here's Dan Hopsicker's story about how he got the photo and what it means:

http://www.madcowprod.com/05072006.html

"Look out kid, They keep it all hid.” Bob Dylan “Subterranean Homesick Blues”

WORLD EXCLUSIVE May 6 2006--Venice,FL. by Daniel Hopsicker

Deposed CIA head Porter Goss was once a member of the CIA's super-secret Operation 40, an assassination squad which roamed through North and Central America during the 1960's.

Along with a number of men whose names became famous and whose lives and careers comprise a large part of America’s Secret History, Goss appears (see a comparison) in the historic photograph at right, which also appears on the cover of "Barry & 'the boys': The CIA, the Mob, and America's Secret History."

It is the only extant photograph of the members of Operation Forty, the CIA’s assassination squad, taken in a Mexico City nightclub in 1963.

Coupled with his close proximity to the terrorist hijackers who used his Congressional District in Charlotte County as one of their main bases of operations, this fact virtually shouts out for closer examination during the post-mortems dissecting his tenure as CIA chief.

When we first saw the photo, it was in the yellowed frame used by nightclub photographers back in the 60's. It bore the name of a nightclub (La Reforma) in Mexico City, and was stamped with a date, January 22, 1963, ten months to the day before the Kennedy assassination.

"Guido, meet the General. General, meet Guido."

The Mexico City nightclub photo reveals a mixed group of Cuban exiles, Italian wise guys, and square-jawed military intelligence types. It was discovered among keepsakes kept in the safe of the widow of CIA pilot and drug smuggler Barry Seal, where it was overlooked by a 7-man team from the U.S. State Department which showed up at her house in 1995 to comb through her records.

Barry Seal had been recruited at the age of 17, along with Lee Oswald, by CIA agent David Ferrie, at a two week summer camp of the Louisiana Civil Air Patrol in 1957.

The product of a patrician Connecticut upbringing, an elite preparatory school and Yale University, Goss entered the high-stakes espionage game being played out between the Florida Keys and the coast of Cuba after the CIA-backed coup against Castro collapsed at the Bay of Pigs.

"During his junior year, he met a CIA recruiter through his ROTC commanders,” reported the September 24, 2002 Orlando Sentinel, in a story headlined “TERRORISM FIGHT KEEPS REP. GOSS IN POLITICAL FRAY.”

“It is true I was in CIA from approximately the late 50's to approximately the early 70's,” Goss told antagonist Michael Moore.

At the time the picture was taken Barry Seal was a young-looking 24-year old. Porter Goss was the same age.

"They've given you a number, and taken 'way your name."

Seal is seated third from left. Sitting right next to him (second from left) is Porter Goss. Beside Goss is notorious "freedom fighter" Felix Rodriguez (front left), a Cuban vice cop under the corrupt Mob-run Batista regime in Cuba who later became an Iran Contra operative and a confidant of the first George Bush.

On the other side of the table is the the only spook celebrant displaying any regard for tradecraft... Covering his face with his sport coat is Frank Sturgis, famous for being one of the Watergate burglars.

Beside Sturgis (front right) is another famous spook, at least among Kennedy assassination researchers, William Seymour, the New Orleans representative of the Double-Chek Corporation, a CIA front used to recruit pilots (like Seal). Seymour is regarded by many researchers as the man who on several notable occasions is said to have impersonated Lee Harvey Oswald, when that lone nut gunman was out of the country.

At the time it was taken the CIA's covert action chief in Mexico City was David Atlee Phillips, AKA Maurice Bishop, who reportedly met with Oswald in Dallas before the assassination.

"You don't have the negative too do you?"

The sensitive nature of the picture was confirmed by a person who had known and worked with Seal, who incidentally had been the inspiration for the hit song "Secret Agent Man," by his buddy Johnny Rivers in the 'mid-60's.

The man, also the executor of Seal's estate, reacted with unconcealed shock when first shown the picture. “Where did you get that?” he demanded. “I didn’t know there were any… Where did this picture come from?"

“Yeah, Barry was Op Forty,” Jerry Patrick Hemming confirmed. “He flew in killer teams inside the island (Cuba) before the invasion to take out Fidel.”

Frank Sturgis, a member of the team that broke into Democratic National Committee headquarters at the Watergate complex in 1972, later admitted to having been part of Operation Forty.

Other famous names who belonged to Operation Forty include Thomas Clines, Edwin Wilson and "Blond Ghost" Ted Shackley.

Colonel William Bishop showed author Dick Russell a series of photographs of Latin-looking individuals who belonged to the group. On the backs of the pictures were the words "Special talent 1960-65, Ice pick man ... Butcher... Sniper and demo [demolition] expert ... Propaganda ... Knife man... Pilot and navigator ... Mutilator."

“Bishop said, ‘We weren't playing a nice game.’”

When nephew Chuck Giancana wrote about Mob Boss Sam Giancana’s strategic move to Mexico in early 1963, he wrote this about Operation Forty...

"It was to be an all-out, no-holds-barred Latin American push. Mooney (Giancana) settled into a lavish Mexico City apartment and went right to work, drawing on the expertise and mammoth resources of the recently-formed CIA team of assassins and operatives specifically trained for Latin American clandestine operations. CIA insiders jokingly dubbed the team the White Hand, an allusion to the Mafia killer progenitors the Black Hand."

"You're not cleared for that information."

Although the photo was available at the time of his confirmation as head of the CIA, the major media showed no inclination to press Goss on the matter. In fact, the party line rang out everywhere.

"Rep. Porter J. Goss has disclosed precious few details of his CIA employment from roughly 1960 to 1971,” reported a profile in the Associated Press. Reuters called him a “mystery man,” and said he had been “close-mouthed about his past.”

“He worked in Haiti, the Dominican Republic and Mexico-tumultuous countries during that decade of the Cold War,” Reuters reported.

During a 2002 interview with The Washington Post, Goss joked that he performed photo interpretation and "small-boat handling," which led to "some very interesting moments in the Florida Straits."

He acknowledged he had recruited and run foreign agents and said he would be uncomfortable traveling to Cuba but wouldn't say more.

“With a prep-school education and a Greek major at Yale, Goss passed up the conventional life to be a CIA spook,” reads one typical wire service account.

Actually, the facts lean heavily towards the proposition that with “a prep school education and a Greek major at Yale,” Goss’s choice to become a CIA spook in the early 60's was an entirely conventional one.

"Closed orders and secret societies"

The appointment of Porter Goss revealed that what passes for American civic life may in reality be just an elaborate game of Inside Baseball. Goss found himself paired often with fellow Floridian, Democratic Sen. Bob Graham, then the chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, leading the joint congressional inquiry into the attacks.

The two men share another unique distinction: both were having breakfast on the morning of September 11th, 2001 with a man who reportedly wired $100,000 to Mohamed Atta.

"When the news [of the attacks on the World Trade Center] came, the two Florida lawmakers who lead the House and Senate intelligence committees were having breakfast with the head of the Pakistani intelligence service.”

In testimony before Congress on February 9, 2004, Chief Weapons Inspector David Kay noted, "Closed orders and secret societies, whether they be religious or governmental, are the groups that have the hardest time reforming themselves in the face of failure without outside input."

When was the last time anyone heard a weapons inspector mention secret societies?

Do you ever get the feeling there's something they're not telling us?

Wayne Madsen was on the radio program Coast 2 Coast last night to talk about his findings in the Phillip Marshall Case

After a week-long on-site investigation, former National Security Agency officer Wayne Madsen is “100% certain” that 9/11 investigator and author Philip Marshall and his two children were killed in a black ops hit. Madsen’s conclusion is that the cover story – an alleged murder-suicide – is transparently absurd.

More Porter Goss:

Bomb Goes Off At Pentagon During Porter Goss Q&A

Phil Marshall cast much suspicion on Porter Goss in his most recent book “The Big Bamboozle”. Goss (who was later appointed to CIA Director by President Bush, only to mysteriously resign shortly afterwards, no reason given) was one of those present at that infamous breakfast meeting at the Capitol, on the morning of September 11, 2001, with General Mahmoud Ahmad, head of the Pakistani ISI. According to the FBI, Indian Intelligence and several press reports, the Mahmoud Ahmad was instrumental in providing financial support to the 9/11 terrorists. Ahmad had allegedly ordered the transfer of $100,000 to the presumed 9/11 ring-leader Mohamed Atta.

At that September 11 meeting were three lawmakers Bob Graham, Porter Goss and Jon Kyl who were part of the Congressional delegation to Pakistan. Also present at this meeting were Pakistan’s ambassador to the U.S. Maleeha Lodhi and several members of the Senate and House Intelligence committees. This meeting was described by one press report as a “follow-up meeting” to that held in Pakistan in late August.

After the Capitol meeting, Porter Goss went to the Pentagon where he is seen being interviewed, on camera, by the mainstream US media, while the attack sequence was still being played out. This video gives us some evidence regarding what happened at the Pentagon, as Goss was speaking: There is a distant boom, and people in camerashot turn around and gasp. Then, a minute later, we hear the sound of a large commercial plane flying full throttle, engines screaming, and people look towards where the sound is coming from. There were TWO events at the Pentagon that morning, and Porter Goss likely knows exactly what happened, and who was responsible – and Phil Marshall was onto Porter Goss.

Edit to add: There's a whole bunch of stuff about Operation 40 at Wikipedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_40

Operation 40 was a Central Intelligence Agency-sponsored undercover operation in the early 1960s, which was active in the United States and the Caribbean (including Cuba), Central America, and Mexico. It was approved by President Dwight D. Eisenhower in March 1960, after the January 1959 Cuban Revolution, and was presided over by Vice-president Richard Nixon.

The group included Frank Sturgis (who would later become one of the Watergate burglars); Felix Rodriguez (a CIA officer who later was involved in the capture and summary execution of Che Guevara); Luis Posada Carriles (held in the US in 2010 on charges of illegal immigration, he is demanded by Venezuela for his key role in the execution of the 1976 Cubana Flight 455 bombing); Orlando Bosch (founder of the counterrevolutionary Coordination of United Revolutionary Organizations, that organized the 1976 murder of Chilean former minister Orlando Letelier); Rafael 'Chi Chi' Quintero; Virgilio Paz Romero; Pedro Luis Diaz Lanz; Bernard Barker; Porter Goss; and Barry Seal. Members took part in the April 1961 Bay of Pigs Invasion directed against the government of Cuban revolutionary leader Fidel Castro.

Operation 40 had 86 employees in 1961, of which 37 were trained as case officers
