"It is the habit of unhappiness to rewrite our lives and from a different beginning come to a different ending. We cling to the past and what it could have been; what we wanted, or thought we wanted, before we were taught by a broken heart that our own good intentions have little effect on the way things are."

Hey. That reminded me of a skit on John Boy and Billy where Mad Max was talking about how beautiful women take up with ugly men and he mentioned Julia Robers and Lyle Lovett. It was hilarious, think he called him Abe Lincoln Jr. or something like that.

Abe Lincoln Jr.

Yeah, he ain't much to look at but he's one of the best songwriters out there. He actually looks better now than he did in his younger years when he wore his hair in an Afro pompadour.

Yeah, I think that is when Mad Max was saying that about young Abe Lincoln.

“The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out... without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane, intolerable.” ~ H. L. Mencken
