Try Mrs. Freshley's Creme Filled Cupcakes. They are just as tasty, or tastier than Hostess. They're available at Family Dollar Stores.

Mrs. Freshley also offers her brand of Twinkie. I never was much of a Twinkie fan, so I never tried her Twinkie. But the manager at the local Family Dollar Store says they are tastier than the Hostess Twinkie.
Thanks for the tip - I lovvvvvvvve Twinkies - or at least I did as kid when they still used real ingredients and not all the chemicals that were in them toward the end. I suspect that is one of the reasons Hostess folded - they made their name by making a better product that used quality ingredients and in attempting to boost their profit by a few cents they cut the quality and people stopped buying. I know that where I once loved Twinkies I had not bought one in probably ten years when they folded.
