Two weeks ago, I pointed out Section 1555, one of the major chinks in PPACA's armor according to an attorney at the Goldwater Institute. Section 1555 is the law under "Subtitle-G - Miscellaneous Provisions." Since brining this up, I've heard from some who believe that this section is limited solely to those who sell ("issue") health insurance.

Here again is Section 1555: "No individual, company, business, nonprofit entity, or health insurance issuer offering group or individual health insurance coverage shall be required to participate in any Federal health insurance program under this Act (or any amendments made by this Act), or in any Federal health insurance program expanded by this Act (or any such amendment), and their shall be no penalty or fine imposed upon any such issuer for choosing not to participate in such programs."

I've contacted Goldwater Institute's attorney Nick Dranius, and other attorneys for more information and opinions. I've also transcribed Mr. Dranius's webinar comments so you can read them for yourself. See "News to Know" below.

It says, "No individual (comma) company, etc."

I believe that "individual" means a natural person. I can never understand how they put these Rube Goldberg monstrosities of laws togther. All of this was sold as a way to force all of us into one system of health care.

The clause cited above seems to say, "Never mind."

I believe you are correct about this. "Individual" means "person" which has a specific definition in the legal dictionary. It also means "corporation" since those entities are "fictions of law" and not a "natural" person. They are still "individuals".

Recall, in the movie, "Wizard of Oz" When the scarecrow is dancing and singing he relates about "individdle" or "individual". There was a lot of code in that movie that exposed the scam being perpetrated on us all. ;)

All corporation are "persons" albeit "artificial persons."

But only peeps like you and me are "natural persons."

Corporations are bit by bit usurping the rights and attributes of natural persons, which is contrary to the situation that existed when the Constitution and Bill of Rights were framed.

Correct! The corporations continue to usurp authority and are becoming more powerful than individuals.
