Thanks for that link, some awesome recipes there!! Last week I put two venison steaks in a glass casserole dish, 1 small box of Creole rice (about 1 cup), one package of onion soup mix directly on the steaks, 1 can of cream of mushroom soup mixed with 2 cups water, baked at 400 for 1hr 15 min. Easy, delicious, and healthy.

that'll work. I have a nice roast simmering in a dutch oven right now. coat it with flour, brown then pour water over it. simmer for three hours. I put a package of dry onion soup mix in the water, cream of mushroom condensed works well too. instant gravy. some biscuits, veggies and potatoes. yum! same thing works for pork chops only 30 minutes instead of the 3 hours.
