"Freethinkers are those who are willing to use their minds without prejudice and without fearing to understand things that clash with their own customs, privileges, or beliefs. This state of mind is not common, but it is essential for right thinking; where it is absent, discussion is apt to become worse than useless." ~ Leo Tolstoy
Perhaps some computer glitch sent the thread down an internet memory hole.
Last evening I was conversing with an attorney friend at a local watering hole here in AUTX and the subject of aj came up. I made him aware of 4um and mentioned the thread in question.
Now I guess I'll have to refer him to the other site.
Or send him a copy of the article.
(I captured the entire thing and emailed it to several of my addresses in case that one now disappears as well.)

The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out... without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane, intolerable. ~ H. L. Mencken
i can't recall whether or not it was a titled thread or discussion within a thread.
I checked both articles and comments, and this thread is the only one I found making ref to that exact domain name. Hmmm... unless it was a case-sensitive search.... I only searched for lower case letters. I don't think so though.
