PressTV: Iran's Deputy Minister of Science, Research and Technology Mohammad Mehdinejad Nouri has dismissed claims about the registration of a time machine in the country.
All individuals are free to make scientific claims but there is a clear legal procedure for the registration of such claims based on scientific documents, Mehdinejad Nouri told Fars news agency on Friday.
He said scientific regulations are clear in Iran and are available to everyone, adding that reliable international databases present the figures for science production in Iran.
Mehdinejad Nouris remarks came after an Iranian claimed that he had invented a time machine which can predict up to eight years in the future.
Ali Razeqi, 27, said the device works based on a complex series of algorithms and is able to predict the future from the touch of a user with 98 percent accuracy.
