Alyce’s Mad Hatter Kool Aid Party

-Down the Rabbit Hole and 3 Red Mushrooms to the Left, Arizona

Professional victim Alyce LaViolette has spent the last two days tripping balls in Wonderland, trying to field questions from skeptical (and sober) jurors in the Jodi Arias trial. And judging by the tone of the queries, the eleventh hour “domestic abuse excuse” pitched by Stabby and her band of merry enablers is flying like a lead balloon in the courtroom. But domestic violence expert Alyce will still not budge from her seat at The Mad Hatter Kool Aid Party. She chugged it down in five gallon buckets, and is still trying to serve it to the jury.

Here are just some of the questions that MIGHT restore your faith in common sense after the whole Pinellas debacle, along with Alyce’s ridiculous answers.

Question: ”Why would you believe a pathological liar?” Answer: “Because of the collaborative data.”

Since we can rule out consulting anyone or anything other than Arias and some cherry-picked texts, collaborative data can only be defense speak for “other lies told by Jodi.”

Question: “Could Jodi have exaggerated to help her case?” Answer: “I found she was a person who didn’t exaggerate. She tended to minimize.”

To summarize: Using Cammy-D’s spiderman boyshorts as evidence of a pedophilia fetish is NOT exaggerating. And leaving work to drive 1000 miles to confront your ex about their new lovelife is MINIMIZING, everyone. Good. To. Know.

It was about this time the March Hare was spotted hopping through the courtroom with a teacup.

Question: “Why have you looked at Jodi multiple times during cross exam to meet eyes and smile?” Answer: “I’ve been trying not to look at her. I have friends sitting near her. “

I would try not to look at her too. Because that wingnut’s black eyes will suck your soul away. And those aren’t your friends, Alyce. That’s Tweedle Nurmi and Tweedle Wilma, stirring up another giant bucket of Kool Aid for you to regurgitate all over the jury.

Question: “If you were brought in to determine domestic abuse, why didn’t you look more into Travis’ text that he was extremely fearful of Jodi?” Answer: “I didn’t see anything else that made me think it’s true.”

Really? Not even his autopsy report, accompanied by her confession to 29 stab wounds, a gunshot to the head, and a slit throat? Stop eating the mushrooms, Alyce. I’m embarrased FOR you.

Question: “Is it possible your view of men in general is bias?” Answer: “I don’t think so. Some of my best friends are men.”

Tell that to the seven dwarves; they’re holding quite a grudge since you accused them of beating Snow White. They still cringe whenever plumes of smoke from one of your bra-bonfires permeate their woods. Especially Bashful.

Question: “Is it conceivable a woman would kill her partner just to get away from abuse?” Answer: “Conceivable, yes, but rare.”

Now brace youself for the followup question and answer, and try to keep your brain from collapsing in on itself with the sudden shift in gears. Wait for it…. Wait for it….

Question: “Jodi’s response to perceived danger on June 4, 2008 went way beyond neutralizing Travis. Is that normal?” Answer: “Abused women often dont know when to stop with violence.”

Hdhdifosksbcurldlqmsbfkgltmsjh. Excuse me, my head hit the keyboard again. Just as a white rabbit dipped his pocket watch in the Kool Aid.

Question: “Jodi kicked, slapped, and berated her mother as a teenager. Doesnt that make her an abuser?” Answer: “No, she was just a rebellious teenager.”

Got it. Girls are rebellious and feisty and allowed to suckerpunch their parents. Boys are actually young abusers. Such are the mad gender rules at this most curious of Kool Aid parties.

And finally, my personal favorite:

Question: “How do you know Jodi hasn’t manipulated you like everyone else?” Answer: “I don’t feel I’ve been manipulated.”

Okey dokey then. If you say so.

This Alyce Laviolette woman is a man hating lesbo skank. I hope she is found guilty of perjury and no one ever buys another one of her books or attends one of her seminars. She is truly an awful person. (J.D.)

Huh - first I've heard of this train-wreck.

JD,

Thought you might appreciate the coverage of this case given at this link:

“I believe that there will ultimately be a clash between the oppressed and those who do the oppressing. I believe that there will be a clash between those who want freedom, justice, and equality for everyone and those who want to continue the system of exploitation. I believe that there will be that kind of clash, but I don’t think it will be based on the color of the skin…” -Malcolm X

There is a facebook page that someone started called Alyce Laviolette is NO Longer a Voice for the Voiceless and you can see that most of the people who have posted comments on it just despise the woman. And the majority of people who have posted on it are actual victims of domestic abuse and some of them have made it pretty clear that they would like to knock AL out if they got a chance.

Also, the old biddy is re-releasing her book on the 23rd and the discussion about her on Amazon is something no author would want to see. Her book, first published in the early 90's, has been given a ONE STAR rating which is the lowest rating you can get--there are no negative stars and if there were she would be in negative numbers.

The comments on Amazon are really good too, at least most of the ones I have read.

This mess is all over 'tube, and appears to have been going on for 46 days!

How is this possible?

LOL! They are following the trial on HLN and Tru TV. Tru TV has coverage in the morning of most of what happened the previous day but HLN shows it (more or less) live. They apparently dvr it and then break OFTEN for commercials and almost every time there is a sidebar discussion with the lawyers and the judge and those have been numerous in this case. They pause it when they take a break and then hit play and you get back to the point where they break from the sidebar or whatever.

RobynD323 @robynd323

I have borne witness to many criminal trials in my life and have seen many Expert witnesses give compelling testimony. I routinely come away from each trial with a sense of knowledge and understanding thanks to the information about the particular topic the expert had come to testify on. This was certainly not the case since the day Alyce LaViolette placed her hand on the bible. "To tell the truth, the whole truth so help her God." We all know how that ended as she admitted to lying while under oath. This type of behavior isn't typically received very well by the general public, or more importantly, jurors.

Alyce was there to tell Jodi Arias's truth, so help her God, and turned a blind eye to the true predator. For this, Alyce was called out, criticized, and is now crying foul. The backlash has been brutal and Alyce wasn't prepared to handle it. It is Alyce that is the self proclaimed psychotherapist. She couldn't help herself from taking nasty shots at the prosecutor, Juan Martinez. Her anger and resentment is very clear as her bias towards all men, excluding her son, has been very apparent during her entire testimony.

Alyce LaViolette sat on the stand and gave "faulty" testimony for over 10 days, while routinely using her favorite word, "No." If she claimed she's not engaging in a relationship with Jodi Arias, then why is the only Expert I've ever seen invest and risk her entire life's work?

LaViolette's testimony is a great disappointment to the many survivors and victims of Domestic Violence. She never explained the dynamics of domestic violence, which would have proven beneficial in this case. This was not part of Ms. LaViolette's agenda. Her testimony has been nothing short of insanity, much like Jodi Arias's defense, in this Death Penalty First Degree Murder Trial.

I believe in justice. I believe in truth. I do not believe in placing blinders on and ignoring the facts that are clearly looking Alyce LaViolette in the face. She was clearly testifying for a manipulative murderer. Alyce has allowed herself to be manipulated by pressure from Jodi Arias herself and the defense team.

Alyce LaViolette may be a woman who spent 35 years advocating for domestic violence victims, however, in her testimony, there is no proof she is capable of determining who the actual victim is by her constant accusation that Jodi Arias is the only one. Travis Alexander, the true victim, was stabbed approximately 30 times, nearly decapitated, and shot in the face, then left in his shower to decompose for over five days before he would be found by friends, yet, LaViolette claims he's the perpetrator. How on earth did Alyce ever come up with this? She crossed the line when she lied under oath, then purposely sought out the true victim's family and said, "Nothing personal." Is this the behavior of an Expert Witness? Her ethics alone are questionable, therefore her testimony is being second guessed by the very jury that sits in judgement of the accused.

Maybe the public audience had much higher expectations of Alyce LaViolette. I know I certainly did. Most people walked away from witnessing this insane testimony of Alyce LaViolette knowing no more about Domestic Violence than they previously did. What we did gain from Alyce LaViolette? She is, without a shadow of a doubt, a hired gun. A person who will place their entire reputation on the line for a known liar and self admitted murderer. Alyce LaViolette's crime is against the many victims of Domestic Violence ultimately in the end. This jury doesn't appear to be buying her "bought and paid for" testimony.

Most women can stand up under adversity, but as the world was watching, Alyce LaViolette broke. This "Expert witness" is now attempting to blame social media for her inability to take personal responsibility and to do her homework. I believe Alyce LaViolette expects everyone to love her. In that alone proves to me, that she is not doing much. Alyce LaViolette was not prepared to stand up to her critics and didn't expect the intense backlash she has received since taking the stand in the Jodi Arias Murder trial. If she doesn't like criticism, then she needs to find a new line of work. One piece of advice to the critics who are crying for LaViolette's reputation. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. If Alyce LaViolette wants to be loved, she needs to move to Hollywood and become a movie star. People tend to love celebrities. .

She will get no respect for what she's done during her visit to Arizona. She doesn't deserve a chance to ever step before a podium again to speak for the victims of domestic violence. Alyce LaViolette was given a chance to teach the world what battered women syndrome actually is. She failed. Unfortunately, her mission was clear and, in turn, sold out all the true victims of domestic violence. If I could ask Alyce LaViolette one question it would be, Why?

Doc: Jodi's abuse claim is an 'impossibility'

Farnaz-Namin Hedayati, Ph.D., is a doctor of corporate psychology

She says Jodi Arias could have been abused, but that's not what led her to kill Travis Alexander

See why she says Jodi's story does not add up

Did Jodi Arias suffer from such severe emotional abuse that she was led to brutally murder her ex-boyfriend, Travis Alexander? Or is Jodi indeed lying, as many people seem to believe?

Arias claims she killed Alexander in self-defense, and her attorneys have introduced the idea of post-traumatic stress disorder to support her case. Even though there have been instances where victims have turned around and become perpetrators of crimes to relieve the symptoms they can’t otherwise quiet down, in Arias’ case, the claim that past physical and emotional abuse caused her to defend herself and murder Alexander does not apply.

It is a physiological impossibility. Here’s why.

Within the process of “fight or flight” -- also known as the sympathetic vs. parasympathetic nervous system responses -- chemicals like adrenaline, noradrenaline and cortisol are released into our bloodstream. This causes our body to undergo a series of very dramatic changes. Our respiratory rate increases. Blood is shunted away from our digestive tract and directed into our muscles and limbs. Our pupils dilate. Our awareness intensifies. Our sight sharpens. Our impulses quicken.

In short, we become prepared, physically and psychologically, to fight or flee. Based on the evidence presented in court, Arias was in “fight” mode and attacked Travis. This attack would have required a high level of arousal, which is only possible when one is experiencing the heightened sympathetic nervous system or the “fight” response.

Since an individual can only experience one neurological response at a time, Arias could not have been in “flight” mode, as she has claimed: She could not have been attacking and running away at the same time.

Furthermore, Arias claims memory loss in support of her self-defense argument. She has testified that, due to the gravity of the event and her extremely heightened level of arousal, she has no memory of stabbing Travis or slitting his throat.

Considering the fact that she has not described any memories of the murder, even in the form of “flashbacks,” leads me to believe that Arias has committed pre-meditated murder.

The question isn’t whether she was emotionally abused. She could very well have been, even by Travis. However, whether emotionally abused or not, she did not kill in defense mode, because even Arias could not be in two physiological states at the same time.

Americans who have no experience with, or knowledge of, tyranny believe that only terrorists will experience the unchecked power of the state. They will believe this until it happens to them, or their children, or their friends.

I suspect it will go at least another month. The prosecution hasn't even begun their rebuttal case and then there will be closing arguments (and everything about this trial has taken three times as long as it should).

Check this out, Lod. This dumb bitch, Alice Laviolette, who is supposedly an expert in domestic abuse, claims that Jodi Arias is not guilty of greater domestic abuse than Travis Alexander. Whatever credibility she may have had is definitely down the tubes with the single word answer of no.
