(AP) — Police have converged on a neighborhood outside Boston where there were reports of explosives being detonated and police are telling reporters to turn off their cell phones. Dozens of officers and National Guard members are in Watertown, where television outlets report that gunfire and explosions have been heard. A helicopter is circling overhead. Authorities early Friday were calling for somebody to get on the ground and put their hands up and a loud thud was heard after someone shouted "fire in the hole."

The above is police scanner (Boston) The guy that was face down was not a suspect according to reports. He looked like a white guy to me ... the others do not look white. I've been up since 2 AM this morning watching this. When it first came out about some bombs being detonated in Watertown, reports came out that these bombs were of military explosive types and that it occurred around 11 pm ET. When I heard "military explosives" the first thing that came to mind was the only suspects who would do this would be those who have military clearance access to such explosives.
None of the photos in this thread are of the white guy they had in custody. When I say white I mean he was a blonde. YOu don't get any whiter or typicical. But that photo is gone... that story scrubbed. It was on the scanners. and it was in the pictures but it only lasted ... I'd say that version of the story lasted about 20 minutes or so.... I started repeating it here and elsewhere but then BLAM another story change. Now we got us bona fide al ciada again..... despite reports last year that the organization had been labotomized ....
