Right, no blood trail, despite just having his legs blown off, where is the blood? I think the actors thought everyone knew it was all a regular bombing drill, then later found out that it was much more involved and was actually a drill for martial law as well.

When you get cut you bleed right? This guy had both legs missing, supposedly by a bomb just seconds ago, where is the blood? Is this guy a zombie?
They don't take someone away in a wheelchair who just had his legs blown off. They rush him into a helicopter (or an ambulance at least) on a stretcher, with IV tubes and bottles hanging all over him, replacing lost blood etc.

Carlos's account of things is that he was only a few yards from Bauman when the bomb blew up right in front of Bauman's feet. Bauman was so disoriented he didn't realize that he had lost both his legs. Carlos IMMEDIATELY grabbed him, put on tourniquets and then grabbed an empty wheelchair that some other emergency person was pushing someplace, plopped Bauman in the wheelchair and then used it to transport Bauman to an ambulance.
In the few minutes following the explosion there were no ambulances, and certainly no evac helicopters, right at the explosion site. Carlos had to push Bauman around the corner to find an ambulance.
There are only about 5 quarts of blood in a grown man. Since Bauman is still alive, figure he didn't lose more than 2 quarts. In the photos he's very greyish, so he certainly lost a significant amount. I daresay that someone with REAL experience in such injuries, such as a combat medic, can tell you about uncanny survivals of explosions and the very odd effects possible in explosion injuries.
