The "no planes it was all a holograph truthseekers" were getting a little too close to the truth for the PTBs comfort. So, "they" stashed it between 2 buildings.

The parts could be mismatched due to the fact that the planes that hit the towers that day weren't 767s. They were beefed up military planes.
