Ron Dermer, a top aide to the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu, sees the Boston bombing as a "big boost" that is going to make the average American more pro-Israel and even more eager to increase aid to them." Netanyahu himself previous said that the 9/11 terror attacks were good for Israel, noting "We are benefiting from one thing, and that is the attack on the Twin Towers and Pentagon, and the American struggle in Iraq," and that the events "swung American public opinion in our favor." The only people arrested on the day of the 9/11/01 attacks in New York were a bunch of "dancing Israelis". Additional Israelis were also stopped and reported on by the FBI across New York and in several other states with explosives in their vans.
