In my personal examination of the earliest of pictures, which I believe are authentic, I don't see Jeff Bauman or the particular 'actress' blonde.
The 'cowboy' is seen; but not in great detail.
This controversial 'related set' of pictures just doesn't seem to be the least bit authentic. However, if they are fakes, there had to be some major pre- planning; the timing of their release would demand it.
In the background, I E-mailed a 'supposed' friend who used these photos; asking about their source - I haven't heard from him.
Logically, it's necessary to get a reliable background on 'this' Jeff Bauman and the cowboy. Who can vouch for their role as "ordinary citizens?"
In one report, Bauman supposedly said that Tamerlan dropped the backpack at his feet. Blast effects can be incredibly weird; but given the chronicled fireball, why isn't he showing at least burns, as well? He should also have been temporarily deaf. For that matter, he should have also suffered a shock-induced regressive amnesia.

yes, that's what i want to see.
FL, you say this exists. have you seen any photos of Jeff Bauman at work, with family, running, anything before the bombing? a comment or two from supposed co-workers doesn't cut it for me.

Everyone could be paid off to keep quiet about this, including COSTCO. That would explain why no one comes forward. One, they would put their life in danger if they did. Two, they would lose their nice payoff for being quiet.
I will need to see a real unaltered picture of him in shorts or a swim suit with his real legs showing. I know from the pictures that the lack of blood and the time they waited to help him with two legs off, and then when they finally did help him they put him in a wheelchair instead of a stretcher, all of this makes it highly unlikely that he lost his legs at the Boston marathon.
